A Night Soaked With You - Chapter 7
He murmured in a low voice and wrapped his other hand tightly around her waist, pressing their lips together.
Yeong-won froze, her eyes wide like a startled rabbit.
Tae-geon gently tapped her teeth with his tongue, almost as if knocking. That soft motion made Yeong-won unknowingly part her lips.
The intruder wasted no time and swiftly slipped inside.
He first traced the roof of her mouth before roughly brushing against the inner lining of her cheeks. The blatant sounds of friction echoed as their movements intertwined.
As the kiss grew more intense, Yeong-won struggled to breathe, and Tae-geon briefly gave her space, his hand gliding down her waist. Then their lips locked even deeper.
She became increasingly aware of where their bodies were pressed together.
The more she felt him, the more her stomach tingled, and heat surged through her body.
Hnng.
A faint whimper escaped Yeong-won’s lips without her realizing it. Embarrassed by the strange sound coming from her own mouth, she panicked.
But she couldn’t control it anymore. Her stiff body had long melted, becoming soft and relaxed.
After a whirlwind of moments, Tae-geon’s lips finally pulled away.
Under the light, they glistened, still connected by a thin string of saliva. Heavy breaths filled the air, and Tae-geon was the first to speak.
“You’re good at this.”
He said, his voice still tinged with excitement.
Tae-geon reached out and gently rubbed Yeong-won’s wet lips with his thumb.
But Yeong-won slapped his hand away.
“……I told you. I’m good at it.”
Quickly stepping away from him, she stood up.
Of course, she spoke as if everything was fine, but Yeong-won’s legs were trembling like the leaves of an aspen tree.
Her heart was still racing, pounding wildly as if it might burst. Her mind was filled with confusion.
“I’m not doing this just to get my role back from you.”
As the second hand moved a few times, Yeong-won spoke with as much calmness as she could, despite having just shared a passionate kiss.
Tae-geon didn’t answer her right away. He silently poured the liquor from the bottle into his glass and downed it straight.
After a moment, he glanced at Yeong-won.
“As you wish.”
Then he poured another drink and offered it to her. Yeong-won stared at the strong whiskey.
Her hands were shaking so much that she felt she would spill it if she accepted the glass.
However, it seemed that Tae-geon had no intention of withdrawing the glass, as he held it out to her again.
Yeong-won rubbed her sweaty palms on her thigh before accepting the drink.
After taking a sip, she set the glass down on the table.
Yeong-won swallowed the liquid and tried to sound calm as she spoke.
“I’ll give you a piece of unsolicited advice.”
Tae-geon raised his eyebrows, as if urging her to continue. Yeong-won began to share the thoughts she had been holding inside.
“You’re talented and good-looking. Why are you meeting with someone to help them when you don’t need to? Don’t do that. It’s really a cowardly thing to do.”
“……You’re right, it is presumptuous.”
Tae-geon twisted the corner of his mouth slightly. However, he didn’t seem offended or angry.
At that, Yeong-won relaxed her body, which had been tense with nervousness.
“Well, I think I’ll be going now.”
Unsure whether to bow as a farewell or just leave, she finally nodded her head slightly in greeting.
Tae-geon simply stared at her without saying anything. He remained quiet even as she turned to walk away.
Yeong-won quickened her pace. Wanting to escape from the place as soon as possible.
She planned to go home, wash up, and lie down to sleep. Tomorrow morning, she would wake up and tell herself it had all been a dream.
She would convince herself that nothing had happened last night.
Just as she thought this, Yeong-won grasped the doorknob.
Her sense of balance felt slightly off.
Why does my body feel so off.
As she walked on in a daze, Yeong-won felt something was wrong and quickly looked down. Her eyes widened in surprise.
