Becoming the Guide of the Mysophobic Villain? Absolutely Not! - Chapter 275
“C-Cl-Claude… this isn’t… right, is it?”
Oscar asked in a trembling voice.
“It can’t be… There’s no way that shameless Rose who keeps manipulating you from behind is…!”
But Oscar couldn’t finish his sentence. Claude’s rough hand yanked him forward, and suddenly Claude’s terrifying, harsh face was right in front of him.
Naturally, Oscar was shocked.
He knew Claude was crazy, but he didn’t think he was this out of his mind.
“Get a grip, man. It looks like you’re so blinded by longing that you’re seeing me as your Guide… but I’m Oscar! The same Oscar you threatened not to even touch through clothes!”
“I know.”
Claude growled through gritted teeth, his veins bulging at his temples and his eyes bloodshot. He didn’t seem to be mistaking Oscar for his lover.
Yet, there was no mercy in the hand gripping the back of Oscar’s head, pulling him closer.
“You know? If you know, then why…”
“Cooperate. I need to get out of here as soon as possible, and I need guiding to do it.”
He was desperate, needing guiding to get his body to cooperate, even if it meant using Oscar.
Of course, this didn’t sit well with Oscar.
“Why does it have to be me? Sh-Shana is here too! Shana would… welcome you with open arms…”
“Don’t be ridiculous. Do you think I’d risk letting it be known that I haven’t imprinted with Rose?”
Claude snapped, now openly frustrated.
Then why do I have to kiss you just because I know your secret?! Oscar wanted to ask, but he was too upset to get the words out.
“I-I’ll hold your hand. Guiding can be done just by holding hands…”
“How long do you think that will take?”
“No…”
“I need this to be quick and effective.”
He was glaring at Oscar, but his words were not really directed at him. Claude was convincing himself, like a person on the edge of a cliff about to jump.
His bloodshot eyes were unsteady. He couldn’t be reasoned with. He was completely mad with the determination to get back to his Guide.
Oscar was also at his wit’s end. He had been caught between Claude and Rose since the very start, and it got worse ever since he had discovered by chance that they hadn’t imprinted yet.
He had kept the secret to avoid getting involved in their complicated issues. But instead of being grateful, his friend was demanding a kiss to get guiding.
And with such an awful expression for someone making the demand!
Oscar grabbed Claude’s collar, struggling to hold him off. He knew he couldn’t match Claude’s strength, but he was desperate.
It was pointless. Oscar resorted to kicking Claude’s side and thigh, but it was like kicking solid rock. Claude didn’t budge.
His strikes felt like hitting a boulder with an egg. Realizing the futility of his resistance, Oscar’s face turned pale.
Claude’s was worse. He looked like a man being strangled.
Since early childhood, Claude had suffered from guiding allergies, leading to severe mysophobia. He couldn’t stand being touched even through clothes. So, Oscar’s frantic blows and panting breath on his face were intolerable.
But he could endure anything, even worse, if it meant returning to his Guide, whose condition he hadn’t known for over two months.
Despite their struggles, the distance between them narrowed. Just as their lips were about to meet—
Whoosh!
The tent flap was suddenly pulled aside.
“Lord Claude, I’m here! Lord Claud’s Guide, Rose, has come to the resc…”
“…”
“…”
The woman who was desperately needed by both men for different reasons had appeared.

So, here’s what happened.
The news that a messenger from Claude’s unit had arrived after two months to request additional support quickly spread through the Center. It was proof that the war situation wasn’t looking good. It meant that the mission might be prolonged indefinitely.
Naturally, when the messenger arrived at the Center, many people went out to see. I was among them, of course.
