The man wearing the high-quality suit was slightly taller than So-yeon, a middle-aged man with a noticeable belly despite his average build.
“Ah, I met him just outside. He said he’s Director Kwon Si-heon’s guest?”
Kwon Si-heon’s guest? But why today, at our home of all places?
“Hello, I’m Shim Young-beom.”

“Director Kwon asked to meet here today. I thought it would be at a restaurant – I had no idea we’d be coming to a home.”
Though strange and unsettling, he was still Kwon Si-heon’s guest.

Having no choice, Ji-hyang invited Young-beom in along with So-yeon.

Si-heon looked meaningfully at Gye Young-cheol and Ji-hyang as he spoke.
“They’ll understand. They’re very generous people.”

As Si-heon’s eyes seemed to say this, Young-cheol and Ji-hyang awkwardly smiled and nodded.
“Yes, well, we’re about to become family. If they’re Director Kwon’s guest, they’re our guest too.”

Smiling broadly, Young-beom naturally followed So-yeon and sat beside her.
So-yeon hesitated and looked at her mother, but there was nothing Ji-hyang could do.
