Bound by a Ruthless Contract - Chapter 82
“I’ll make sure she sleeps well and gets home safely, so don’t worry. Well then.”
Watching him hang up after saying only what he needed to, Ga-eun let out a small laugh like a sigh.
After placing her phone on the table, Si-heon returned to the bed.
“Why are you laughing?”
“Just… I think nothing’s difficult for you, Mr. Kwon Si-heon.”
Nothing difficult, really?
He couldn’t even sleep properly, and yet on a day like today, he still had to bring her home.
But that wasn’t something he could say.
Si-heon lay behind her again, wrapping his long, strong arm around her delicate body.
Taking a deep breath, the subtle floral scent began to pleasantly fill his lungs.
Satisfied, Si-heon unconsciously smiled.
Fortunately, Ga-eun couldn’t see his face.
“Why don’t you just move in?”
“What do you mean?”
“Live here from today on.”
Ga-eun turned around with wide eyes to look at him.
Looking at Si-heon’s completely composed expression despite his words, Ga-eun wondered if she had heard wrong.
“I know you hate repeating yourself, but just now…”
“I think you heard right. Yes, live here from now on. You won’t be uncomfortable. I’ll make sure you get whatever you need when you need it.”
“What… how could I?”
“Why not?”
When I’m saying I want this.
It wasn’t stubbornness or a whim.
His eyes seemed to ask ‘What’s the problem?’ as if it were the most natural thing.
“Even so, we need preparation…”
“I don’t think living together before marriage is such a big issue. It’s quite common these days.”
“That’s true, but… so suddenly…”
“Isn’t your mind more at ease here? More than being in that house.”
Si-heon shrugged his shoulders.
“Though your body might have a harder time.”
Good grief. While she stared at him blankly, dumbfounded, she was suddenly laid down.
Ga-eun blinked as Si-heon moved above her.
“Mr. Kwon Si-heon.”
“Yeah?”
“Right now…”
“Right now?”
“What are you trying to do?”
“Do I have to say it out loud?”
If you want me to. He gently bit her earlobe and whispered, “s-x.”
Her cheeks, earlobes, and nape turned appealingly red in an instant.
Si-heon willingly devoured the delicacy before him as he once again sank deeply into Ga-eun.
Nothing ever failed to go according to Si-heon’s will.
From the moment he said it, Ga-eun really did end up living in Si-heon’s house.
There wasn’t much to bring from Gye Young-cheol’s house. No, more accurately, there was nothing at all.
Not only did he stock up on everything new – clothes, shoes, bags, and even underwear – but while she was at work the next day, he had transformed one of the second-floor rooms into a study exclusively for Ga-eun.

In just one day.
“I don’t think the Chairman would approve of this…”
“Has he contacted you?”
“No, not really.”
“Then he’s giving his silent approval. It’s been a week already.”
Today marked one week since she started staying at Si-heon’s house.
Though the news must have reached him by now, Chairman Kwon Soon-yeol hadn’t given any indication of his thoughts.
“That side is fine. Your side seems more problematic.”
“It’s okay. I explained it well.”
The day after she moved in to Si-heon’s house following their formal greeting.
As expected, Ga-eun was summoned to the director’s office as soon as she arrived at the gallery.
“Is what Director Kwon said on the phone yesterday true? That you’re moving in to live with him?”
“…Yes, that’s what happened.”
“Look here, I know you were raised without proper foundations, but isn’t this too much? We haven’t even had a formal meeting between families yet. Yesterday was just the first time he greeted us as a potential son-in-law. And after dropping that elderly bomb on us, you just slip away by yourself?”
“Si-heon said that it was the Chairman’s wish.”
“What, Chairman Kwon?”
“He said the Chairman wants the eldest grandson and his wife to live together as soon as possible. If you really disapprove, I could tell the Chairman…”
“Stop right there! Are you really this thoughtless? How could you say such a dangerous thing! If you get on his bad side, the whole family could be ruined…!”
When she spoke as Si-heon had instructed, Woo Ji-hyang could only wear an indignant expression without saying anything more.
“But does Mr. Shim Young-beom and my sister really have to get married?”
Si-heon gave a meaningful smile.
