Can Someone (Anyone!) Please Turn Off the Auto-Skill Setting?! - Chapter 43
Just to be sure, Nancy checked if he was still under the abnormal status. He hadn’t snapped out of it. He was still a bundle of raw desire. Yet, she couldn’t understand why he was holding back.
Was he using sheer willpower to resist? But why? It was only causing him trouble.
The thought kept her up for a while, tossing and turning before she finally drifted off to sleep—only to wake up again a short time later, feeling unusually hot and short of breath.
‘Why is it so hot?’
When she sat up, she realized her whole body was drenched in sweat. Could Aaron have been right? Was she actually sick?
Nancy groggily glanced over at Aaron, who was lying flat on his back, breathing so quietly he barely seemed to be alive.
“Ugh.”
She hadn’t even touched him—just looking at his face was enough to make her pulse quicken and heat surge through her body.
His status had escalated from “dangerous” to “extremely dangerous.” That seemed to be the reason. But hadn’t she taken the potion…?
It was then that Nancy realized she’d forgotten to take the potion before going to bed. In a panic, she scrambled to find the bottle.
“Haah, ugh…”
Her body was so hot it sent shivers down her spine. Not only that, but her hands trembled so much that it was hard to open the cap. After several attempts, she finally managed to get the bottle open and poured the contents down her throat.
This should fix it.
With a sigh of relief, she waited for the effects to kick in. But no matter how long she waited, her body only grew hotter, and the burning sensation didn’t subside.
The potion could block mental attacks but couldn’t cure something that had already taken hold.
Now, she was just someone who had swallowed a disgusting potion with no relief. Panting heavily, Nancy crawled over to Aaron’s side. Even though he lay there peacefully, his body felt as hot as her own.
She took his hand and pressed it to her cheek, rubbing it against her face, nose, and lips. It gave her some sense of relief.
“Aaron.”
Even as she called his name and played with his hand, he didn’t wake up. Completely out of her mind and incapable of rational thought, Nancy guided his arm between her legs. She pressed herself against it, moving her hips up and down, seeking some kind of release.
Don’t wake up. Please don’t wake up.
It was only then that Nancy realized she was in a dangerous situation. But stopping wasn’t an option anymore. Determined to finish before Aaron woke up, she moved even more desperately against his arm.
“Hah…”
The thrill of doing something so risky was driving her wild. She was so close. If she was going to finish, she wanted to do it while looking at his face. As she stared up at the tent’s ceiling, focusing on her movements, she suddenly looked down.
Aaron’s eyes were wide open, staring right at her.
“…”
“Haanngh!”
If only she could have stopped herself right then. But her body, completely out of control, reached its climax as she locked eyes with him.
Her hips bucked as she came, and once the sensation began to fade, cold sweat ran down her back as her mind slowly returned to her. She had no idea how to handle the situation.
Mortified, she couldn’t even look him in the face, hanging her head in utter shame.
“Were you in that much of a rush?”
“…”
“You couldn’t wait until I woke up and decided to rub yourself on my arm?”
Nancy wished the ground would swallow her whole. No amount of apologies would fix this embarrassment.
She needed to get out of there—immediately. She was going to find a river and jump in. That was the only solution.
With her decision made, Nancy bolted out of the tent, frantically looking around for the river they had passed earlier that day. But before she could go any further, Aaron caught up to her, grabbing her wrist.
“Wait, Nancy—”
“Aaron! Let me go. I have to…”
I have to jump into the river and die!
She swallowed the words, struggling to free herself from his grip. But Aaron was firm, pulling both of her wrists and making her face him.
“You think you can just sneak off after doing something like that?”
“I-I’m sorry! I… I must’ve lost my mind for a moment.”
Nancy apologized, her voice shaky with embarrassment, but Aaron just gave a short laugh.
“If you were that desperate, you should’ve woken me up instead of doing something weird like a pervert.”
The word “pervert” made Nancy’s shame turn into anger. Scowling, she snapped back at him.
“You’re the one who said no! I finally worked up the courage, and that’s how you reacted! Do you know how hard it was for me?!”
“And you’ve been rejecting me all this time.”
“So I wanted you to know how it felt— mnngh!”
Her words trailed off as her frustration settled. Despite everything, her overly sensitive body was already trembling, craving more stimulation.
