Can Someone (Anyone!) Please Turn Off the Auto-Skill Setting?! - Chapter 94
Aaron’s eyebrows, which had relaxed with her playfulness, shot back up.
I shouldn’t have said that.
Nancy regretted it as she watched Aaron approaching her. He cupped her cheek.
Her line of sight was suddenly far too close to the front of his pants. She was familiar with his lower body, but having it this close to her face was a different experience altogether, making it hard for her to stare directly at it.
Was he asking her to suck him off in exchange for taking the scolding?
“…If you had just gone to your father earlier, you wouldn’t have to hear such dreadful things.”
Aaron flinched and stepped back, shuddering at the thought.
“What did I say wrong!”
Nancy protested, feeling unjustly blamed. The truth was, if she actually offered, he would never refuse, despite pretending to act dignified. When she muttered loudly enough for him to hear, Aaron shot her a sharp look.
The glare was enough to make her clamp her mouth shut, as though she hadn’t said anything. Aaron raised a warning finger at her.
“Don’t go wandering around while I’m gone. Stay put and wait for me. And if Boron shows up, tell him to get lost.”
“You’re telling me to be mean to your little brother?”
“There’s no need to be nice to him. Don’t show your face, even if he offers sweets or tries to take you somewhere. And especially don’t look like that.”
Aaron glanced at her provocatively, suddenly thinking it would be better to leave her fully dressed. His mind made up, he grabbed her neatly folded clothes from the stool.
Though Nancy found it a hassle, she reluctantly started getting dressed under the watchful eyes of the man standing over her. When she shot him a look that asked, Is this good enough?, Aaron frowned.
“Can’t you cover this part more?”
He tugged at the collar of her shirt, trying to hide her exposed collarbone.
Nancy thought he was being overly cautious about his brother, but when she remembered Boron, she could understand why Aaron was so uneasy. After all, it was a bit strange.
Nancy had never expected to meet a man who knelt before her, smiled, and kissed the back of her hand the first time they met.
“Does your brother… maybe like me?”
“…I don’t know.”
Aaron’s response was curt, but his thoughts were written all over his face. Nancy couldn’t help but giggle.
To think this man, who had taken down three of the Four Cardinal Guardians, was now jealous of his own brother. The contrast between his fearsome strength and his pettiness was strangely adorable.
“Are you happy Boron has feelings for me?”
“It’s not terrible.”
“…”
“You don’t seem too pleased about it.”
“No. It makes my blood boil.”
Finally, Aaron’s jealousy, which he had been holding in, burst out honestly.
Nancy couldn’t hold back her laughter. The more she laughed, the more frustrated Aaron’s expression became. Realizing he was getting upset, Nancy stopped laughing and hugged him tightly.
“Don’t worry. You’re the only one with a face handsome enough to instantly melt away all my stress.”
After a long session of comforting and coaxing, Aaron finally opened the door for the now-frantic butler, whose voice had grown more urgent.

Whatever scolding David had in store for his son, it was taking Aaron much longer than expected. After two hours, he still hadn’t returned. Nancy, bored from wandering between the balcony and inspecting the wallpaper inside the room, was growing tired.
Contrary to Aaron’s worries, Boron hadn’t shown up. Nancy had even worried that if Boron did come by, Aaron’s jealousy would flare up again, but that concern had been for nothing.
However, after three hours of waiting, boredom had reached its peak. Nancy found herself wishing for anyone to visit, just to break the monotony.
“Hey!”
As she lay sprawled on the bed, utterly bored, someone suddenly jumped on her stomach. Startled, she lifted her head and saw Chuck standing on her belly, with his hands cockily planted on his hips.
Fate is strange, isn’t it? When she had prayed for Aaron to return quickly, nothing had happened. But the moment she wished for a visitor, her wish was granted.
“You managed to escape without getting caught!”
Nancy had completely forgotten about him being chased by the dogs the previous night. Now that she thought about it, she really shouldn’t have forgotten. If he had been captured…
She admired Chuck for having escaped on his own.
“Of course! This is my second time at this estate, so I know where all the secret spots are!”
As he puffed out his chest with pride, Nancy nodded and praised him, though something suddenly struck her as odd.
“Why is it the second time? What did you come for the first time? Are you talking about when you came to steal the hero’s ring?”
