Cinderella is... the Male Lead? - Chapter 25
Rona squinted, and Cinderella’s red lips slowly parted.
“These aren’t my clothes today.”
“…What?”
“Here, take all of these,” Cinderella said, suddenly handing the shopping bags to Rona.
Rona blinked in confusion, unable to understand the meaning behind Cinderella’s actions.
“These are all your clothes.”
“What? No, they’re your clothes,” Rona protested.
“I don’t need these. I picked them for you.”
“Wait, what… Cinderella! Your clothes…!”
Before Rona could finish her sentence, Cinderella had already thrust the bags into her arms and was striding up the stairs, disappearing from sight. Her strong, confident steps always seemed more fitting for a sturdy young man.
Standing there with her mouth agape, Rona looked down at the bags in her arms. The day’s events flashed through her mind like a panorama. She had thought Cinderella was excited to go shopping for her own clothes. Why did she pick clothes that suited Rona instead? And why did she even pay for them?
‘Does she not want to receive gifts from me? Is that it? So, she bought my clothes for me…’
Back in her room, Rona was engulfed in a strange feeling. She couldn’t quite put a name to the emotions swirling inside her. It wasn’t unpleasant, but she couldn’t exactly call it joy either. Slowly, she laid out the clothes she had bought on her bed.
‘So, her taste wasn’t strange after all. She was picking out clothes for me from the beginning. Does that mean the underwear also…?’
Rona held the lingerie against herself. Thinking it was meant for her, the size seemed just right.
‘Huh, I can’t figure her out. Well, since these are meant for me, I might as well try them on.’
Rona unwrapped each item and tried them on. Everything fit perfectly, even the underwear. Exhausted, she flopped onto her bed, the clothes on it shifting with her movement.
‘Even the underwear fits perfectly. How does she know my size?’
The bras fit without being too tight or too loose, which was remarkable. It was hard to tell if Cinderella had a good eye or if it was just a lucky guess.
Rona turned onto her back and stared at the ceiling. The unresolved questions swirled in her mind.
‘Why is she doing this? Is she making a point? The mood today wasn’t bad at all…’
They had linked arms and talked more than usual. Everything had seemed fine.
Rona analyzed Cinderella’s actions as if she were dissecting a date with a man. If Cinderella disliked her, she wouldn’t have come along in the first place. She wouldn’t have linked arms or spent time picking out clothes for her.
‘Whatever, maybe Cinderella just didn’t like the clothes in the shop. I should just get some sleep.’
The only thing Rona was sure of was that Cinderella didn’t hate her. Thinking beyond that was too exhausting.
She tidied up the new clothes and closed her eyes. She felt that her mind would clear after a good night’s sleep.

Meanwhile, Cinderella, in his nightwear, lay in bed with a strange feeling. The storage room was protected by an illusion spell, but the gold coins in the pouch were real. Yet Rona hadn’t touched the money in the storage and instead used her allowance to buy clothes for Cinderella.
‘I want to buy some clothes for you. And I want to choose them myself.’
His heart raced inexplicably, and he had followed Rona, forgetting his original intention to keep watch. They had linked arms, eaten jelly, and browsed through the clothing store together…
It had been a refreshing experience for Cinderella, who had never spent time freely with either men or women. It was fun, and he wanted to do it again. But he had to be careful and couldn’t go out recklessly.
‘It was fun. That’s why…’
Cinderella touched his chest. His heartbeat was faster than usual. The joy of experiencing normalcy was likely causing this reaction, he reasoned.
At the clothing store, he had unknowingly picked out clothes for Rona. If he were truly trying to blend in as a woman, he would have calmly chosen clothes for himself. Instead, he ended up picking items for Rona and even selected underwear that fit her perfectly.
He had also paid for everything. Without realizing it, Cinderella had wanted to show his masculine side to Rona, treating her to a surprise. Yet he wasn’t yet aware of this desire in him.
‘It will fit, I’m sure.’
Cinderella was confident. He had glanced at Rona’s chest enough times to guess her size without doubt.
Restless, Cinderella reached under his bed, where several hidden books were stored in a concealed spot Rona hadn’t found. One of them was a risqué magazine.
Despite having lived as a woman, he couldn’t completely suppress his instincts and had these magazines for minimal release. But tonight, he felt unusually heated. He unbuttoned his trousers and grasped his rigid member.
The spell his father had cast long ago to maintain a feminine form had weakened to the point that it could only keep his body slender. The solid rod in his hand was thicker than a baby’s arm.
He closed his eyes and stroked himself. The fantasy shifted from the women in the magazine to Rona.
“Rona…”
