Delicious Sweet Milk Baguette - Chapter 16
Struggling to catch her breath, Roa trembled all over. The intense sensations she was experiencing were so overwhelming that she found it hard to regain her composure.
“Roa?”
“Ah… ah…”
“Roa, are you okay?”
Klimt’s concerned voice pierced through her ears. She wanted to respond, but her body felt completely drained of energy. It seemed as though her strength had drained away completely…
Engulfed in extreme pleasure, Roa felt as if her mind was becoming blank.
Indeed, this was … impossible…
* * *
“Mm…”
As if emerging from complete darkness, a bright light flickered. Roa blinked her heavy eyelids, which felt like they were weighed down by a ton.
“Roa, are you awake?”
Had she lost consciousness during their intense lovemaking?
As Roa slowly opened her eyes, the warm midday sun filled her vision. Klimt sat beside her with a worried expression, as if an intangible, invisible tail was gently swaying in her mind—was it just her imagination?
“…Klimt.”
“I was worried about you, Roa.”
“Worried?”
“You didn’t wake up even after a whole day… I was considering calling a doctor.”
“I’m fine. I’m perfectly okay.”
It was true that their affair had been intense, with him taking her body in every possible way, shaking her with every thrust. It had reached a level where maintaining some moderation was necessary. But…
‘It was so good… I almost fainted…’
Roa looked at Klimt, who was anxiously fidgeting, and smiled reassuringly. She felt refreshed and as if all her built-up desires had been completely released.
“I’m sorry. Even though Roa told me to stop, I couldn’t hold back…”
“I actually feel quite refreshed… mm…”
Was he going to promise not to overdo it again? Roa tried to sit up.
Despite feeling refreshed, her physical condition wasn’t great. The pain radiating from her lower back made her groan softly.
“Roa…”
“Just give me a moment, and I’ll be okay.”
Klimt’s repeated apologies seemed to reflect a sincere penitent, like a devoted parishioner, or perhaps a large, affectionate dog begging for attention. For a moment, Roa noticed the distinctly changed appearance of the room, which was markedly different from before.
“Did you…clean the house, Klimt?”
Just a quick glance was enough for Roa to appreciate Klimt’s cleaning skills.
The previously disheveled clothes were neatly folded, and the furniture, which had accumulated dust during her absence, now sparkled.
And that familiar scent…
“It smells wonderful.”
“Oh, I baked some bread. I thought you might be hungry when you woke up.”
“I’m starving!”
“I’ll bring it out with some soup. Just stay there.”
With a look of anticipation akin to a predator eyeing its prey, Roa’s request made Klimt smile broadly as he brought out breakfast. Her eager expression seemed to please him.
“Is this a baguette?”
“Yes, the oven is too small to make them as large as the ones from the bakery.”
Klimt had prepared a savory cream soup and a perfectly sized mini baguette. The warmth in her hand showed that the bread had just been baked. Roa, with her mouth watering, couldn’t resist the temptation any longer.
Crunch—
The salty butter flavor and the delicate sweet milk sprinkled on top created a perfect ensemble. The perfect baguette taste described in the column filled her mouth, sending shivers throughout her body.
“This flavor is…!”
The baguette Klimt made was the most perfect she had ever tasted among all the bread she had tried. It seemed to surpass even the skills of the Hilgrad royal bakers, and could very well be the best in the continent.
‘It looks like Joshie’s column wasn’t wrong after all.’
Having tasted the baguette, Roa was consumed with the desire to keep Klimt by her side at all costs.
Such boundless energy and radiant beauty. A modest man with a huge p–is and impressive culinary skills. It was almost too much to describe.
And considering Klimt’s blind devotion to her since their childhood connection…
‘I absolutely can’t let him go.’
Determined to hold on to him no matter what, Roa looked at Klimt and began to speak.
“Do you have a place to stay?”
“No… I’m planning to find one soon.”
“Then… how about staying here until you find a place?”
“Here?”
Klimt looked surprised by Roa’s suggestion. He probably didn’t expect her to propose living together first.
However, contrary to what Roa had anticipated, Klimt didn’t immediately accept the offer. He seemed hesitant, fidgeting and hesitating, which made Roa more anxious.
“I wouldn’t want to be a burden to you…”
“A burden? Not at all.”
Roa quickly cut him off. It was time to lay her cards on the table.
“I really want to eat the bread you make… every day.”
