II-V. Happily Ever After
With a soft thud, Hansel collapsed to the ground, her dress and petals scattering in the air.
It wasn’t the Arsinoe estate or Dante’s gingerbread house bedroom but a garden filled with the sweet fragrance of wildflowers.
To be precise, it was the front yard of Dante’s house. The colorful house, with its roof and gingerbread fence, was perfectly restored as if it had never collapsed. She’d heard it had been utterly destroyed. When had it been rebuilt? There wasn’t even time to ask.
Hansel didn’t have the capacity to think about where she was lying.
The tongue forcing its way into her open mouth completely scattered her thoughts. It was desperate, like a beast quenching its thirst under the scorching sun. The wet flesh pushed in so deeply it threatened to block her airway, swirling wildly inside her mouth.
A cloying sweetness overwhelmed her senses. It felt as though Dante was pouring something honeyed directly into her throat, something intoxicating enough to dissolve her ability to think.
His lips pressed and rubbed against hers, then sucked at them, pulling her tongue into his mouth and devouring it without restraint. The aggressive kiss left her dazed, her entire body tingling under the intensity of his attack.
Every time his slick tongue grazed the delicate roof of her mouth, her body jolted. He alternated between biting and licking her lips, his movements oozing hunger. Helplessly, Hansel let out faint whimpers between her short, uneven breaths.
“Dan… wait… I… ahh… can’t… breathe…”
Her chest felt like it was going to burst from the erratic rhythm of her breathing. Hansel struggled under Dante, trying to push him away, but it was futile as always.
This wasn’t the same gentle kiss as before. Back then, he had teased and tasted her slowly. Now, Dante had clearly reached his limit, and his restraint had snapped.
Unlike Hansel, whose tightly shut eyes brimmed with tears, Dante never looked away from her. His red eyes stayed locked on Hansel’s face as it flushed and swayed with his movements, and it only stoked the heat surging in his lower body.
When Dante finally pulled his lips away, Hansel gasped frantically for air. The sudden rush of oxygen left her head spinning. But before she could fully catch her breath, Dante flipped her over in one swift motion.
“Ah!”
Letting out a small yelp, Hansel found herself flipped onto her stomach. That’s when she finally noticed where she was.
Lifting her head, she caught sight of the colorful house in the corner of her vision.
Wait… this is the yard?
Somehow, amidst the blooming spring flowers, the two of them had ended up tangled in the middle of the garden. Above them stretched a clear, refreshing blue sky, and the faint aroma of baking bread teased her nose.
The scene was beautiful, like something out of a fairy tale.
But that wasn’t the problem here.
“W-Wait, Dante!”
This is outside!
They could have just transported to the bedroom—so why here? What nonsense had he picked up from those books again?!
“Stop…! Huff, ahh, don’t… lick there…”
Dante’s tongue traced along Hansel’s exposed back, revealed by her shimmering wedding dress. Her skin, even fairer today, gleamed under the sunlight.
When he nipped lightly at her shoulder blades, Hansel’s body shuddered like a startled kitten. Panicking, she reached back to push him away, but Dante grabbed her hands and pinned them to her back. The movement left her completely restrained.
Hansel shouted urgently.
“Let’s… let’s go to the bed! Okay?”
“I can’t wait.”
The suppressed desire that had been building up was now bursting at the seams. Adding to that, a month of abstinence—it was a miracle he’d lasted this long.
If not for Madame Virginia’s books teaching him the virtue of restraint, he would’ve already shredded her dress to pieces and taken her like an untamed beast.
Dante leaned over her back, his teeth grazing her neck as he left soft marks. Each time she let out a faint, pained whimper, it pushed him closer to the edge.
“What if someone sees us?! You hate that too!”
“No one’s coming.”
No creature in this forest dared to approach Dante’s home. Even if they did, Dante would sense them before they got close.
Still holding her wrists, Dante straightened his back. His red eyes swept over Hansel’s figure as sunlight bathed her in a soft glow.
Her platinum hair was pinned up, exposing her delicate, deer-like neck. His eyes caught the faint red marks he had left on her skin, and his desire to leave more intensified.
Her deeply cut dress revealed her smooth back, which looked even more beautiful in the sunlight. It drove him insane. He wanted to cover her skin with his marks, to leave behind undeniable evidence that she was his.
Hansel was already his, but no matter how many marks he left, it didn’t feel like enough. He wanted to etch himself into her very soul.
“You’re mine.”
“……”
“Completely mine.”
Dante’s large hand slid gently up Hansel’s waist, his touch sending shivers down her spine.
