Hansel’s Enchanted Fairytale: Fill Me Up With Magic! - Chapter 83
Dante slowly turned his head to glare at the werewolf, who flinched and fell silent, though his golden eyes still burned as he looked at Hansel.
“I think I get it now. Why you were wandering around in the forest and how things ended up like this. It’s hilarious, really…”
Having lived for 300 years, the werewolf’s deduction skills were razor-sharp.
The missing Arsinoe entered the northern forest and pretended to have lost her memory to survive. In the meantime, her supposed captor fell in love with her.
Even with his life hanging by a thread, the werewolf found it an entertaining story.
He glanced sideways at Dante.
“And our innocent master, of all the people you could choose, you pick someone like this wench as your mate?”
“What?”
“What else? That brazen woman who fooled you, master—her name is Arsi—”
“Ack! That hurts!”
Hansel let out a scream and collapsed to the floor. Dante, startled by her cry as if it had come from a wounded puppy, immediately let go of the werewolf and strode over to her in a flash.
Lowering himself to her level, Dante cupped Hansel’s cheeks gently, worry evident on his normally stoic face.
“What’s wrong?”
“My head suddenly hurts. Maybe I’ve caught a fever. My head feels like it’s splitting open, and my body is shivering…”
“You don’t have a fever.”
“……”
Hansel’s gaze darted everywhere, avoiding Dante’s. A few seconds passed before she buried herself in his arms, wrapping her arms tightly around him.
“It’s menstrual cramps!”
Dante was silent for a moment. His reaction made Hansel inwardly cheer. Of course, there’s no way he’d know what that is.
She resolved to confess everything to him once they got back to the bedroom.
I’m an Arsinoe. I deceived you, but now I like you. I can’t live without you. Please forgive me.
“That thing women go through once a month?”
“……”
Hansel’s eyes widened in disbelief as she instinctively looked up at Dante.
“You—you know about that?”
Dante pointed at a book lying next to the pale blue sofa. Its hardcover was alarmingly familiar.
[ Ten Billion S****l Desires and Realities, Madame Virginia Johnson’s Practical Study on S****l Techniques ]
…Why is that here again?
Suppressing the rising sense of despair, Hansel clung to Dante for the third time.
“Yeah! That’s why I’m in pain. So just take me to bed, please. I feel like I’m going to die…!”
Dante’s heart sank. Feel like she’s going to die? Just hearing it made him feel like all the blood in his body had drained out.
Without hesitation, Dante lifted Hansel into his arms. In that moment, it was as if the werewolf had been erased from his mind entirely.
Hansel exhaled a sigh of relief. Good timing. With the attack spell on the door gone, the werewolf should be able to escape on his own while Dante takes me to the bedroom.
“She’s an Arsinoe.”
Dante froze mid-step, his foot poised on the threshold. Hansel’s breath also hitched, stopping as if she’d died with her eyes open.
The air chilled instantly, and Hansel snapped back to her senses. It felt like the space around Dante was slowly freezing over, the atmosphere thick with concentrated rage and murderous intent.
Still holding Hansel, Dante turned around slowly.
The werewolf sat against the side of the sofa, one knee propped up, grinning like he found the situation absolutely hilarious.
“The woman you chose as your mate, dear master—she’s Hansel Arsinoe, the eldest daughter of the Arsinoe family.”
The werewolf had already resigned himself to death.
Captured, he was certain he would die. If he was going to die anyway, why not set fire to the scene and go out with a bang?
The werewolf chuckled darkly as Dante looked down at Hansel in his arms. Hansel clung to his shirt desperately.
“N-No! That’s a lie! I’m not her, Dante!”
Dante tilted his head.
“You don’t even know who you are.”
His words hit like a hammer. Despite his limited vocabulary, Dante had a sharp and quick mind. After all, someone without such intellect couldn’t wield magic at his level.
Hansel’s heart pounded as if it would break through her ribs. Her veins thrummed so hard that her head felt ready to burst. Dante’s inquisitive gaze loomed over her like the blade of a guillotine.
He’s suspicious, isn’t he? What should I say now?
Dante suddenly turned toward the werewolf.
“Every word out of your mouth is a lie.”
“What?”
“She’s not an Arsinoe.”
Hansel’s body jerked as if shocked. Instinctively, her hand reached for her neck.
I’m not dead… right. That’s true. They said I’d only die if my name was spoken aloud. So even if it’s mentioned now, I won’t die.
Stay calm.
Dante thinks I’m an ordinary person—he won’t figure it out.
The werewolf scowled deeply.
“It’s not a lie! That woman isn’t just an ordinary person. She’s naturally gifted with magic, and—”
“I’ve seen that woman before,” Dante interrupted.
“What?”
Hansel’s eyes widened.
He’s seen me before? When?
Dante cocked his head to the side, his expression unreadable.
“It’s not her.”
Hansel clung to Dante’s shirt, her voice shaky.
“Y-Yeah! I’m not her, see?”
The werewolf growled in frustration, sitting up irritably.
“She is Hansel Arsinoe! I’m not the one lying here—that woman is! She’s deceiving you!”
“No. Not Arsinoe.”
“She is! Hansel Arsinoe, the daughter of Margaret Arsinoe, someone you know very well!”
“I’m not her! I swear!”
Dante furrowed his brow, looking increasingly annoyed. He enunciated each word with deliberate force.
“She’s. Not. Hansel Arsinoe.”
The moment Dante uttered her name, a faint thud echoed in Hansel’s ears.
Beeeeeep—
A shrill ringing filled her head. Before she could even catch her breath, her vision went black.

Oh, no. I hope Dante don’t kill her unconsciously. I know he will be very devastated if she is gone.
