Hero, Go To School! - Chapter 5
“Hey… Aren’t you cold?”
I barely managed to speak, but my voice wavered at the end. He didn’t seem to care at all about my flustered question and spoke in a sharp tone.
“What is your purpose in bringing me here?”
“Bringing you here? I was dragged here too…”
I was trying to explain when his foot moved forward a step.
“Ah! Wait, don’t come any closer!”
He paused at my scream, but instead of backing off, the suspicion in his eyes only deepened.
Whether or not he was suspicious of me didn’t even matter anymore. The real problem was that every time he moved, that… that thing between his legs jiggled along with him.
The visual shock was overwhelmingly violent. I couldn’t even process what he was saying.
How could something so monstrous be attached to such a work of art of a body? It was beyond astonishing; it was downright absurd.
I kept trying not to look, but my eyes kept drifting back there.
Seriously, I didn’t want to! It just kept happening on its own!
Flailing my hands a bit, I spoke in a trembling voice.
“If you have a minute… would you mind putting on some clothes?”
His reaction was as cold as ice.
“Shut up.”
“….”
His fierce voice cut off my plea completely. But still, there was something off about his attitude. It didn’t quite match the Ian Zenor character I knew from the game.
Ian’s personality was never this sharp, never like some wary wildcat. Was this really the same Ian Zenor from the game? As I blinked, a system window appeared beside him.
<Ian Zenor – Helper>
It was correct?! The moment I confirmed the name, the system window disappeared.
“W-wait a second. Did we… have a fight?”
Screw it, I thought. I just blurted out an apology. If this innocent childhood friend was acting like this, there had to have been some falling-out between us.
“I’m sorry. I guess I was a little sensitive that day.”
I forced my lips into a smile. But despite my effort, Ian clenched his fist tightly.
“Stop spouting nonsense, you filthy savage.”
“Wouldn’t the filthiest and most primitive thing here be your outfit…?”
I couldn’t help the retort that slipped out.
He scowled, mocking me.
“Whatever trick you used, I admit you were skilled enough to kidnap me.”
“Kidnap…?”
“Ha! How sickening, the way you pretend to be innocent. I saw through your plot to lull me into complacency with your beauty long ago!”
Ian’s eyes glimmered with pure contempt.
“B… beauty trap?”
I pressed my hand to my cheek, repeating it back.
Me? Seduce someone and kidnap them using a beauty trap?
Even my parents, who always said I was prettier than most idols, would probably smack me on the back and say, “What the hell did you read all night?!” if I asked them, “Do you think I could kidnap a handsome man with a beauty trap?”
Repeating that ridiculous accusation in my mind, I scrunched up my face.
“What a load of crap…”
“This ends now!”
He suddenly shouted and leapt unbelievably high. His face was tense with determination, and his movement toward me felt almost like slow motion. But the most shocking part was the huge hunk of flesh swinging freely between his strong thighs.
Right before his pot-lid-sized hand could reach me, I squeezed my eyes shut on instinct.
Thud!
A deafening impact echoed as the floor beneath us quivered in tiny vibrations. But I felt nothing at all.
When I slowly opened my eyes, I saw him sprawled out flat on the floor. His round butt, raised slightly, glistened in the sunlight.
“…What are you doing?”
At my question, he lifted his head just enough to glare at me. A long trickle of blood was running from his right nostril. Oh god, blood. I rushed forward in alarm, and Ian’s face twisted as if in utter humiliation.
“Are… are you okay?”
“Cough-!”
He responded with a heavy cough, then spat out a mouthful of blood. I screamed when the blood splattered onto my clothes.
<Helpers> cannot attack <Players>.
If a <Helper> attacks a <Player>, they will take near-fatal damage.
