How to Escape from the Yandere’s Crazy Obsession - Chapter 11
Maybe it was because of the incident a few days ago, but Leticia constantly felt a chill creeping up her spine. In the end, she never found out who was responsible, and she had no choice but to bury the memory of that day.
Since then, her body began to show signs of strain, likely due to being overly cautious about everyone around her. From the morning, she felt chills, and it seemed that her body was finally giving out. Leticia pulled her cardigan tightly around herself and hugged her arms.
“Leticia, what’s wrong?”
“Richelle… I’m so cold…”
Richelle placed her hand on Leticia’s forehead. It was burning hot.
“Leticia! You’re burning up!”
Leticia could feel the fever too. Her body felt overheated, and her vision blurred as if she might collapse at any moment. She had no energy left to attend her next class.
If she pushed herself to attend, she would surely pass out. Each time she swallowed, her throat stung. Leticia struggled to speak.
“Hah, Richelle… I think I need to rest.”
Richelle agreed.
“Yeah, Leticia, go rest. You need it.”
Leticia left for the dormitory, leaving behind Richelle, who watched her with worry.
Had the walk to the dormitory always been this long?
Her body felt impossibly heavy, and it was as if she couldn’t even leave the main building of the academy. It felt like someone was pulling her feet down, preventing them from lifting off the ground. Leticia’s pace slowed more and more.
“Hah… Hah…”
Every time the cold wind touched her, it felt like her bones were shattering from the pain.
This wasn’t going to work. She realized she couldn’t make it to the dormitory.
In her struggle, her eyes landed on the infirmary. Yes, she could rest there for a while.
Her legs had no strength left, and she could barely stand. Leaning against the wall for support, she dragged herself to the infirmary door. Even opening the door seemed like an impossible task, her body too weak to exert any effort.
“Is anyone here…?”
The infirmary was empty. She had hoped for a nurse to at least give her some medicine.
“Huh…”
It was clear she had come down with a severe illness.
Leticia entered the infirmary and immediately lay down on one of the beds. The moment her head hit the pillow, the heat spread through her entire body. She pulled the blanket over her head, curling up tightly in an attempt to chase away the cold.
“Too cold…”
No matter what she did, the chill wouldn’t leave. It felt like her body was going to break apart. Each time she moved, it felt like her head was rolling around inside her skull. It had been a long time since she’d felt this sick.
It reminded her of when she had fallen ill as a child… but when was that? Her blurry memories wouldn’t surface.
Leticia’s heavy eyelids began to droop. Could she really fall asleep like this with no one around? Nothing would happen, right…?
“It hurts…”
Creak.
She had no idea how much time had passed, but the door to the infirmary opened.
Step, step.
Someone walked toward the bed where Leticia was lying.
Even through the haze of her fever, Leticia felt the presence of someone nearby. Was it the nurse? She wanted to open her eyes and ask for medicine to bring down her fever, but she couldn’t muster the strength to lift her eyelids.
Swish. The person standing by the bed silently pulled back the white blanket covering Leticia. The cold air touched her cheek, causing her to grimace.
“Ugh…”
A large hand moved toward Leticia’s forehead. Judging by the fact they were checking her temperature, it seemed to be the nurse.
But the hand that touched her forehead was ice-cold. Leticia, even in her feverish state, turned her head away from the cold touch.
The shadow looming over her was far too large for it to be the female nurse, but Leticia, with her eyes closed, couldn’t tell.
“Ugh… no…”
Though she disliked the cold hand, the presence reassured her somewhat. Leticia’s mind drifted further into unconsciousness, feeling a sense of relief.
As Leticia sank deeper into sleep, the hand on her forehead moved more freely. The hand poked her flushed cheeks before slowly playing with her soft lips.
When her lips were gently parted, her white teeth were revealed. The intruder opened her mouth wider and tugged on her tongue, enjoying the feeling of its moist softness.
“You don’t like me?”
As the fingers pulled away, a strand of saliva trailed between them. The intruder wiped the saliva onto their hand, then slipped it into their pants, rubbing it over their swollen head. The mix of spit and pre-cxm made a slick, slippery sound.
To any normal observer, this was a horrifying and perverse act, but there was no hesitation in the intruder’s movements.
“Who else would love you as much as I do, Leticia?”
