How to Escape from the Yandere’s Crazy Obsession - Chapter 110
V.
As Leticia walked by, the crowd parted like the sea, people splitting into two distinct lines. The walk back to the dormitory after class felt unusually long. The weight of their stares was overwhelming, and she quickened her pace.
“Haa.”
She sighed in relief when she finally reached her room. With no one approaching her, she had plenty of time to study. Leticia grabbed her books, intent on reviewing what she’d learned today. Focusing on something was the best way to clear her mind of unnecessary thoughts.
Ssk.
A familiar black envelope slipped out from between the pages of her book. Her heart started racing again, and her hands began to tremble.
“When did this get here?”
For this to have been slipped into her book, it had to be done by someone who had come into contact with her today. But no one had. Except for Richelle…
No one else spoke to her—she always just stared out the window in her seat. So there was no way anyone had snuck this into her book while she wasn’t looking.
It couldn’t be anyone but Richelle.
“No, it can’t be… Why would Richelle do something like this? Someone else must’ve slipped it in without me knowing.”
The black envelope was thicker than usual today. Shaking it, she heard something metallic inside. Tearing it open, her heart pounded.
“Ouch!”
She cut her finger on something sharp, and dark red blood dripped from her fingertips onto the floor. Rusty blades spilled out of the envelope, clattering to the ground.
“Kyaah! What… what is all this?!”
Leticia’s sharp scream echoed through the room. She was more horrified by the pile of blades at her feet than by the cut on her finger.
Why would someone go this far? Was it not enough that she was already an outcast at the academy? With trembling hands, Leticia picked up the black envelope again.
Inside was a note, one that sent chills down her spine. The large piece of paper was filled with only a single, horrifying word:
[Die.]
The letters were written not with ink, but something red, reeking with a metallic scent that could only be blood.
The sight of the blood-soaked paper made her stomach churn.
“Ugh… ugh…”
The stalker’s threats were becoming more grotesque and terrifying. The intent behind the threat was clear as day. Leticia could feel the malice directed toward her with just this one word.
Her suspicion toward Richelle grew, and despite thinking of her as a loyal friend, Leticia couldn’t help but start distancing herself. She kept telling herself that Richelle wouldn’t do something like this, but all signs pointed to her.
She had to find the culprit soon, so she could prove that Richelle wasn’t behind it. Only then would she stop doubting her friend.

These days, Leticia had so many thoughts that sleep felt like a waste of time. The stalker who hid among the students and threatened her, the confusing presence of Vallon—both weighed heavily on her mind, leaving no room for peace.
Not too long ago, during their breathless encounter, Vallon had made her feel things that warned her how dangerous her situation was. Yearning for Vallon? That was absurd—unless she was truly losing her mind.
Each day felt more nerve-wracking than the last. She needed to distance herself from Vallon before things got worse. There was a sinking feeling that if she didn’t, she’d be trapped in his clutches forever.
With worry etched on her face, Leticia chewed her nails while wandering along the dormitory’s secluded walkway. The sun was beginning to set, and the path was empty.
‘But how do I lure that snake into my dreams?’
The shadow monster had only appeared in her dreams at the start of the semester. Ever since she started spending more time with Vallon, the creature had stopped showing up.
Since Vallon was constantly around her now, there was no need for the shadow monster to invade her dreams. To summon it back into her dreams, she would have to distance herself from Vallon.
But how?
How could she escape Vallon, who seemed to know her every move? It was maddening. Even though she knew how to kill him, she couldn’t see any way to put her plan into action.
And could she even control herself in the dream where the shadow monster appeared?
“Ugh. My head hurts.”
Just thinking about Vallon was exhausting enough, but now she had to deal with the stalker as well. She didn’t know when or where they would strike again.
