How to Escape from the Yandere’s Crazy Obsession - Chapter 13
A week had passed since she last saw Vallon. The strange dreams, the locker incident—at first, Leticia was on edge as unsettling things kept happening. However, as time passed without any further incidents, her anxiety began to fade.
Leticia gradually found peace of mind once again.
Besides, today all her classes finished in the morning, leaving her with plenty of free time in the afternoon.
Days like this were perfect for dates.
Leticia was thoroughly enjoying the freedom of academy life, far away from the confines of her home. One of the things she relished most was romance. In fact, it was one of the main reasons she had come to the academy.
If she had stayed home, romance would have been out of the question, and she would have ended up marrying someone her parents chose for her. Although her parents had made a lot of money through business, they didn’t have blue blood running through their veins, so they wanted to marry Leticia off to a respectable noble.
No matter how much money they had, they were still just wealthy merchants, and her parents didn’t want Leticia to follow in their footsteps. They hoped she would live quietly and marry into a good family.
To be fair, Leticia’s outstanding looks meant that marriage proposals from good families were already coming in, so it wasn’t an impossible dream.
But even those noble families were ultimately after their family’s money. Why else would a noble marry a merchant’s daughter? Even with a high title, they had no money, which is why they were so eager to align with Leticia’s family.
The silver lining was that none of these proposals had been finalized, as those noble families didn’t meet her parents’ high expectations. Leticia had no desire to marry someone her parents picked for her.
She wanted to find her partner herself, freely and through love. If her fate was to marry someone she didn’t care for after her time at the academy, then she at least wanted to enjoy as much romance as possible during her academy years.
So, Leticia didn’t stop enjoying herself. Because of this, her romantic life was always active.
“Kyle, over here!”
Leticia waved brightly from an empty classroom where she had been waiting for Kyle. Just seeing his smile made all her previous frustrations melt away.
“Leticia!”
He was her second boyfriend since arriving at the academy, and they had been dating for a month now.
Kyle was two years older than Leticia and quite popular at Arvata Academy. With his handsome face and tall stature, he stood out wherever he went.
With his light brown hair and sky-blue eyes, Kyle looked like a prince straight out of a fairy tale, alive and walking before her.
On top of that, he had a great personality and was an excellent student. Leticia really liked Kyle.
It was Leticia who had made the first move, and since then, the two had become known as one of the most visually striking couples at Arvata Academy. People even said that they looked like they were glowing when they stood together. This only boosted Leticia’s confidence, as if she were wearing expensive bags and clothes.
“Leticia, I missed you.”
“Mmm, I missed you too.”
Without anyone needing to say anything, the two embraced after not seeing each other for a while.
Kyle wrapped his arms around Leticia’s waist, lifting her onto the desk so that they were at eye level. He kissed her lightly, relieving the longing that had built up during their time apart.
The initial soft kiss quickly grew more intense as their lips locked in a passionate embrace.
Their bodies became hot as they clung to one another, exchanging breaths and saliva in a dizzying kiss. But just as their passion was peaking, they were forced to stop by an unexpected noise.
Screeeech! Screech!
It was the sound of a bird. The noise was anything but calm. The cries, almost like a wail, made them both frown and pull away from each other.
“Ugh, why is it crying like that?”
“I don’t know… I’ve never heard a bird cry like that before.”
Judging by the sound coming from inside the building, it seemed like a bird had gotten lost and couldn’t find its way out.
The piercing noise echoed for a while before finally fading away. Once the sound stopped, the intensity in their eyes returned, even more smoldering than before.
Leticia wrapped her arms around Kyle’s neck, seducing him. After all this time, he was as charming and attractive as ever, setting her body ablaze.
“Then, um, shall we pick up where we left off?”
“Yes, shall we?”
The mood quickly turned sultry again. Leticia, thoroughly heated, began to unbutton Kyle’s shirt one by one, sensually running her fingers over his bare skin as it was revealed.
