How to Escape from the Yandere’s Crazy Obsession - Chapter 14
Unable to hold back any longer, Kyle began kissing Leticia’s neck, rubbing his aroused lower body against her thigh.
“Leticia, I can’t take it anymore.”
An excited Kyle sucked hard on the side of Leticia’s neck, leaving a red mark, which he then traced with his finger, looking pleased.
“Isn’t this your sensitive spot, Leticia?”
“Mmm… it tickles.”
“Can we do it here—”
SCREEEECH—
At that moment, the sound of a bird’s cry, sharp enough to tear through the air, echoed once again, forcing the two to cover their ears.
Screech! Screech! Thud. Screech. Thud. Screeeeech! Thud!
It sounded as though the bird was being strangled. Gasping for breath, the bird flew into the room where the two were, but, unable to find the way out, it flapped around wildly, slamming into walls. Feathers from its thrashing wings floated through the air in front of them.
Seeing this, Leticia screamed, thinking that if they didn’t do something, the bird would die. She thought they needed to open a window.
“Kyaaa! What do we do? We need to… open the window!”
Bang!
Unable to find the exit, the bird crashed headfirst into the opposite window and fell lifelessly to the floor. The horrible noise that had accompanied it also stopped.
There was blood smeared on the window where the bird had hit. At that moment, Leticia’s mind flashed to the image of Eric. Blood was streaming from the bird’s head just as it had from Eric’s that day.
Her stomach churned again. Why were all these ominous things happening to her lately? It was really strange.
Before she could even catch her breath after witnessing the bird’s brutal death, another scream escaped Leticia’s lips.
“Kyaaa!”
The window where the bird had struck was stained with blood, and through that blood, she saw someone standing there. Leticia squeezed her eyes shut in terror, and when she opened them again, she saw a head of black hair through the red-streaked glass.
It was Vallon, standing by the window, his long, unkempt hair covering his eyes as usual, peering into the classroom. An eerie silence descended, sending a chill down her spine.
Why is he standing there so creepily?
He must have seen the bird die, yet he didn’t seem to care at all. Instead, he stared intently in the direction of Leticia and Kyle before opening the door and stepping inside.
What is he planning to do? Terrified, Leticia hid behind Kyle.
Step, step.
Vallon entered the empty classroom, slowly walking over to the dead bird. He casually picked up the bird’s lifeless body and walked toward the frozen pair. His bizarre behavior made both of their expressions twist in disgust.
“What… what the hell is wrong with this guy?”
“V-Vallon?”
Kyle’s words echoed Leticia’s thoughts. To her, Vallon seemed completely insane. When he picked up the dead bird, he did so without the slightest hesitation.
With each step Vallon took, blood dripped from the bird’s body.
“What are you two doing here?”
How could that even be the relevant question in a situation like this? Vallon’s voice was calm, entirely out of place in the tense atmosphere. This was the first time Leticia had seen him since the day he returned her necklace.
His long hair was even more disheveled than before, giving him an even more eerie aura. He looked like a vagrant.
Leticia’s gaze remained fixed on Vallon’s hand, from which blood kept dripping.
The situation felt oddly familiar, as if she had been here before. A sinking feeling crept in—maybe this wasn’t a coincidence at all. The bird in Vallon’s hand felt like a warning directed at her.
“We were… just talking.”
Leticia glanced awkwardly at Kyle’s half-unbuttoned shirt and forced a smile.
“And you’re dressed like that?”
Though she had done nothing wrong, cold sweat trickled down her back.
Kyle wasn’t the only one disheveled. Her skirt had ridden up, and her makeup was smudged, making it easy for anyone to guess what the two had been up to.
It wasn’t like she had committed a crime—they were just being affectionate. But why did she feel so uncomfortable? Vallon’s accusing tone made her feel as though she had done something terrible.
Was he getting closer to her because she had helped him that day? Leticia had no desire to grow closer to Vallon.
For someone she wasn’t even close to, his behavior felt overly intrusive.
“What does it matter to you what we do here?”
“Oh? Does it not matter to me?”
Isn’t that obvious?!
“Of course not! And what are you going to do with that bird?”
“It seems to be dead, so I’m going to bury it. Why? Do you feel sorry for it?”
