How to Escape from the Yandere’s Crazy Obsession - Chapter 28
Vallon’s room was on the top floor of the boys’ dormitory.
It was the best room in the Arvata Academy dormitory, previously used by royalty.
Even though he was ostracized, thanks to his background as a member of the Kattravan ducal family, his room was much larger than Leticia’s, even though her room was already quite spacious.
His room matched his atmosphere perfectly—dark and damp. Leticia hesitated to enter, feeling as if the terrifying shadow monster from her dream might appear again.
Vallon, standing behind her, gently pushed her.
“Why aren’t you going in?”
Leticia stepped into the darkness. The room was completely devoid of light, as if blackout curtains were drawn, making the outside, illuminated only by moonlight, seem much brighter in comparison.
‘Why is it so dark? Can you even see anything?’
As she was thinking about how dark it was, there was a soft click behind her.
Leticia turned her head and saw Vallon standing right behind her like a shadow. She stifled a scream, covering her mouth with her hand.
In the complete darkness, only his bright red eyes glowed.
“…Kya! W-Why did you lock the door?”
His large figure loomed over her, exerting an oppressive presence that made her instinctively shrink.
She wondered what had made Vallon like this.
Had he just let himself be beaten like that? Why? With his size, he could easily overpower them. Or were there more than one attacker? Could it have been someone with great magical power?
Her thoughts spiraled as she tried to make sense of it.
“I locked it in case someone came in.”
Who would come at this hour?
It wasn’t a bad idea to be cautious. Getting caught alone in Vallon’s room would surely lead to unnecessary rumors, which she definitely wanted to avoid.
‘I’ll just check how bad his injuries are and leave.’
Now that she was standing closer, she realized how tall Vallon truly was. She hadn’t noticed it before, but he seemed nearly twice her size. His chest was level with her head.
She had assumed he was thin, but the firm muscles she felt through his thin sleepwear suggested otherwise.
Realizing that Vallon was indeed a man, Leticia instinctively hunched her shoulders even more.
“Ah…”
Her body seemed to have a mind of its own, as she felt a slick wetness trickling down between her thighs simply from brushing against Vallon. Embarrassed, she clenched her legs tightly and hurried him along.
“Let’s… let’s treat your wounds and get this over with. Go get the medicine.”
“Wait here for a moment.”
While Vallon went to retrieve the medicine, Leticia glanced around the room. She thought it would be nice if he turned on a light. As she searched for a switch, her hand brushed against another door handle.
This room seems to have multiple rooms, unlike hers.
What’s this room?
As she turned the handle, something in the darkness moved.
“Who, who’s there?”
Startled, Leticia pressed her back against the wall. The soundless movement made it feel as though it wasn’t a person.
“It’s me.”
It was Vallon who appeared from the darkness, without any noise.
There shouldn’t have been anyone else here, but the uneasy feeling wouldn’t leave her. She tried to calm herself, reminding herself she was just overthinking things.
“Oh, Vallon… You scared me. Why is this room so dark?”
“I like the dark.”
He likes the dark? What a strange preference.
“Are you going to open that door?”
“Can I?”
“Of course. Go ahead. There’s something really… interesting… inside. I think you’ll like it, Leticia.”
Something interesting? What could be in there?
His voice sounded more excited than usual.
Creeeeak— As Leticia opened the door halfway, Vallon spoke again.
“Heh… but if you open that door, you might not be able to come back…”
His voice was quiet, and she barely heard it over the noise of the door opening.
Was that just another mumble? He definitely sounded like he was laughing…
That laugh reminded her of the one from her nightmare, causing her to step back from Vallon.
“What? What can’t I come back from?”
“Nothing. Go ahead. I’m looking forward to seeing how you react.”
Something about Vallon’s insistence to go inside made her feel uneasy. Leticia slammed the door shut and headed to the couch in the living room.
“Aren’t you going in?”
“Never mind. I don’t need to. Let’s just treat your injuries.”
Leticia sat down first, and Vallon followed, carrying the medicine.
“Hmph.”
But he sat too close, his knees positioned between hers. If he moved just a bit more forward, he would touch her most intimate area.
Perhaps because it had been wet for so long, her sensitive area reacted to the proximity, and a soft moan escaped her lips.
It wasn’t that Leticia felt attracted to Vallon as a man, but rather, she found it uncomfortable to have unnecessary physical contact with him in her current state.
