How to Escape from the Yandere’s Crazy Obsession - Chapter 29
“Vallon… could you sit a little further away? We don’t need to sit this close.”
“Ah, is that so?”
Vallon obediently slid back at Leticia’s request. Since she needed to treat his wounds, she thought it would be best if he took off his shirt.
After all, this wasn’t the first time she’d seen a man without clothes, and this was Vallon, the outcast. Moreover, he was a patient with serious injuries.
Trying to stay calm, Leticia spoke.
“Take off your shirt now. I need to see how big the wounds are.”
“Shall I?”
Without hesitation, Vallon removed his shirt, and the metallic scent of blood grew stronger.
“Oh my…! How have you been enduring this?”
The long, vertical cut clearly looked like a knife wound. Leticia soaked a cloth with antiseptic and began cleaning Vallon’s wound.
Vallon’s body was even better than she had imagined when she felt it earlier. His chest muscles were well-defined, as if he worked out regularly.
It was a great body paired with a not-so-great face. Leticia couldn’t help but wonder why someone with this physique would allow himself to be beaten.
“This… I don’t think I can treat this myself. You should probably go to the infirmary tomorrow…”
“Haa…”
Vallon’s hot breath brushed the top of her head, causing Leticia to stop mid-sentence. It felt strange. It didn’t sound like he was groaning from pain— the sound carried a deeper intensity, almost like a moan.
Leticia tried to dismiss it as just a painful groan and continued treating his other wounds, ignoring the sound above her head.
“Maybe because it’s so dark, my sense of smell seems sharper.”
Vallon muttered as if to himself, but since they were so close, it felt as though he were whispering in her ear. Startled, Leticia flinched, and this time, Vallon really did whisper directly into her ear.
“By the way, Leticia, don’t you think there’s a strange smell here?”
Leticia’s face flushed with embarrassment. Vallon’s voice, which seemed to have a subtle, intimate tone, made her legs instinctively clamp together.
She had been holding up fine until now, but Vallon’s words made it impossible for her to lift her head.
Just as he said, with her vision impaired, her sense of smell did seem sharper. At first, she hadn’t noticed due to the smell of his blood, but now she could faintly detect the warm, sour scent emanating from her damp lower body.
“I don’t… really smell anything.”
She tried to act clueless, but it was clear he had noticed.
This is driving me crazy.
Leticia squeezed her eyes shut.
“It’s a scent that’s hard to resist.”
“What… what’s hard to resist?”
As Leticia stammered in embarrassment, Vallon leaned down, following the source of the scent with his nose. He sniffed the air as he moved closer to her lower half.
“It seems to be coming from here… haa…”
Vallon’s heavy breath grew closer to Leticia’s most sensitive area. She could feel his hot breath through the thin fabric.
“Ah, hng…”
When his warm breath hit her already sensitive spot, Leticia’s body twitched. Vallon’s nose brushed against her thigh, right near her private area.
“No… not there!”
Her heart pounded with tension. For the first time, she felt the raw, primal scent of masculinity from Vallon, whom she hadn’t perceived as a man before.
She tried pushing him away, but he was too strong to budge.
Vallon stopped right in front of her lower body, looking up at her. Then, like a snake, he licked his lower lip with his long tongue, smacking his lips.
“It’s coming from around here. It smells absolutely… delicious.”
Without his glasses, the silhouette of Vallon appeared different, sharper than usual. His sleek, high nose and the keen eyes hidden behind his glasses didn’t look like the Vallon she knew.
His glowing red eyes, flickering with every blink, made her feel like he was about to devour her. She wanted to move, but her body was frozen in place, perhaps from fear.
“Ah, I want to taste it.”
“What… what do you want to taste?”
What did he want to taste? Conversations with Vallon were always awkward, with missing context that made it hard to understand his meaning, though this statement carried heavy s-xual undertones.
Has he finally gone mad?
Leticia shoved Vallon roughly, pulling her body away.
“W-What are you talking about? Move.”
“This is where it was.”
Vallon picked up a small candy right next to where Leticia had been sitting. The candy exuded a sour aroma that made her salivate.
“I dropped it while eating some yesterday. I couldn’t find it, but here it is.”
As Vallon waved the candy around, joking, Leticia felt a mix of relief and irritation. At least the scent wasn’t coming from her body, but she was still embarrassed at how tense she had been because of his behavior.
