How to Escape from the Yandere’s Crazy Obsession - Chapter 35
In the end, Leticia, who had spent yet another sleepless night, stood before the professors at Arvata Academy with a determined expression. Her eyes were shadowed with dark circles from lack of sleep.
Clattering, she opened the door and approached Lhivut, the professor in charge of the first-year students.
“Professor Lhivut.”
“Leticia? What brings you here so early?”
“I wanted to request a change in my classes.”
Lhivut looked surprised at Leticia’s request, considering there were only three months left until winter break. Worry and anxiety were written all over her face. He gently patted her trembling shoulder twice.
“Why? Is something wrong?”
“It’s…”
For a moment, Leticia wondered if Lhivut would even believe her if she told him the truth. Arvata’s official outcast—Vallon—was so quiet and withdrawn that barely anyone had ever heard him speak. The idea that someone like him would harass her seemed unbelievable.
But there was no way she could continue attending classes with him.
“You might not believe this, but Vallon has been harassing me.”
“What? Vallon? How could he be harassing you? Is he so quiet that he’s getting on your nerves?”
As expected, Lhivut chuckled as if it were a joke. The idea of Vallon, who was gloomy but quiet, harassing someone didn’t fit with the image people had of him.
If anything, people might believe Leticia had bullied Vallon, not the other way around.
“Vallon has been stalking me! He tried to do something terrible to me!”
Leticia exaggerated a little. What he had done to her was far worse than stalking, but she couldn’t bring herself to recount the details of what had happened the previous night. Instead, she kept it vague.
“Vallon?”
Lhivut glanced at Leticia’s beautiful face, then thought of the gloomy Vallon. While stalking was a serious accusation, it wasn’t entirely out of the realm of possibility.
Tapping the armrest of his chair thoughtfully, Lhivut spoke in a calming tone.
“Leticia, Vallon is the only son of the Kattravan Ducal House. There’s no good to come from getting on his bad side, so you should try to get along with him.”
There wasn’t much Lhivut could do about Vallon allegedly stalking her. There was no evidence, and it was simply Leticia’s word against his. So, expelling or punishing him was not an option.
“Can’t you just… transfer me to a different class?”
Leticia had expected this reaction. No one wanted to mess with Vallon, the heir to the Kattravan Dukedom.
She couldn’t remove him from her life completely, but she could at least avoid him as much as possible.
“Do you really need to go that far? You know, it might affect your grades. Are you okay with that?”
“Yes, I don’t care. Even if I get zeroes, please just transfer me.”
Otherwise, I might have to leave the academy.

After that day, Leticia changed all her classes that she had shared with Vallon. She made sure to never go anywhere alone, always sticking with someone, wherever she went.
Because of the traumatic experience in his dorm room, she developed a fear of black objects, her body stiffening at the sight of them.
She hadn’t realized it before, but she was now terrified of the dark. After that incident, a disturbing shadowy monster appeared in her dreams every night, tormenting her. The shadow would shamelessly say vulgar things, groping and sucking at her brxxsts, and roughly violating her private areas.
The worst part was that no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t escape. No one came to help, even when she screamed until her throat was raw. In the dream, she was thoroughly humiliated and isolated.
The dreams felt so vivid and real that it was terrifying. The shadow always seemed disturbingly similar to Vallon, making her feel disgusted and repulsed.
Whenever she was alone, she felt like someone was watching her. She tried to dismiss it as just nerves from the nightmares, but the cold, chilling sensation she felt in the darkness was too real to be ignored.
There was definitely something lurking in the dark.
Could that shadow really be connected to Vallon? She couldn’t shake the suspicion, especially considering the strange things he’d said. But it didn’t make sense to believe that Vallon could somehow invade her dreams. The conflicting thoughts swirled in Leticia’s mind, leaving her confused.
A week had passed since she had been desperately avoiding Vallon.
“Ugh….”
Leticia massaged her aching shoulders, moving her head side to side. Because of the injury to her leg, she had to wear a splint on her ankle and rely on crutches to walk. Her shoulders were stiff and sore from having to carry her full weight on the crutches.
Every time she looked at her swollen, bruised foot, she felt sick. Even though there was no way Vallon’s fluids could still be on her, the disgusting feeling never went away.
