How to Escape from the Yandere’s Crazy Obsession - Chapter 38
Vallon merely looked down at Richelle, who was yelling at him, without saying a word. His sharp, piercing gaze startled her for a moment, but Richelle quickly stepped forward, as if ready to strike, shouting at him.
“What? Are you ignoring me? You look creepy, and you act just like your appearance. You…”
Vallon’s tightly shut lips curved upwards into a smirk. Leticia, watching him closely, felt her palms grow damp with sweat. She couldn’t help but focus on his lips, dreading what might come out of them. Could he be planning to talk about what happened that night?
“Leticia Cavendish, the filthy slvt defiled every night by the outcast Vallon. Don’t you like the sound of that?”
Vallon’s voice echoed in her mind like a haunting memory, and Leticia, who usually wasn’t one to hide, felt the urge to disappear.
“Guess Leticia hasn’t told you, huh?”
Vallon’s lips twisted into a sinister smile, making Kyle step in.
“What are you saying, you crazy bastard? Get the hell out of Leticia’s sight right now!”
Standing before the supposedly insignificant outcast, Vallon, Kyle broke into a cold sweat. Leticia had told him that the reason he fainted that day wasn’t because of Vallon, but because of his own mana going haywire. There was no way he was scared of someone like him.
Despite Kyle’s words, Vallon didn’t react, continuing to stare at Leticia’s shining blonde hair from behind Kyle. It was as if Vallon was pretending Kyle didn’t exist.
Enraged by this, Kyle poked Vallon’s shoulder and taunted him.
“What, are you too scared to respond? What, do you think Leticia is easy just because she’s a girl? Or are you deaf? I told you to get lost, you worthless bastard drooling over someone else’s girlfriend.”
“You still don’t get it, do you?”
Vallon’s eyes gleamed red from beneath his hair as he spoke in a sharp, disapproving tone.
Startled by Vallon’s eerie aura, Kyle instinctively took a step back before regaining his composure and grabbing Vallon by the collar, furious.
But instead of being scared as Kyle expected, Vallon leaned in, bringing his face right up to Kyle’s.
“I’ve spent nights upon nights sucking on her little pink nxxples.”
“What?”
“Hm? Are you deaf?”
Even with Kyle gripping his collar and throwing insults at him, Vallon showed no fear. He remained calm and continued to provoke Kyle, who was now seething with anger.
This outcast was clearly treating Kyle as though he was nothing.
Kyle, ready to show Vallon his place, began to channel his magic, intending to choke the life out of him. But no matter how much power he poured in, Vallon’s expression didn’t change. In fact, Kyle found himself struggling, as if he was the one being overwhelmed.
Seeing the people around him, Kyle realized that if he let Vallon off the hook, it would damage his reputation. He finally decided to throw a punch.
Thud, thud, thud—!
Kyle’s punches rained down with increasing intensity, like an unbridled horse.
It was Leticia who finally stopped Kyle, aware that many were watching and that if something happened to Vallon, the Kattravan family wouldn’t sit idly by.
“Kyle! Stop it!”
“Huff, huff… Don’t ever show your face in front of Leticia again!”
Kyle, still panting from the exertion, tossed the bloodied Vallon aside as if touching him was something disgusting.
But despite his split lip and the blood trickling down his face, Vallon didn’t change his expression, and, instead, began to laugh.
Everyone watching was shocked by Vallon’s eerie calmness, even after such a beating. Vallon, standing up without a hint of hesitation, brushed past Kyle like a ghost and approached Leticia.
“Why didn’t you tell them? About how I—”
“Vallon, shut up!”
Leticia, realizing what Vallon was about to say, interrupted with harsh words, not caring anymore. She already knew that Vallon didn’t operate by normal standards, so there was no point in being polite to him.
Seeing Vallon, standing there bleeding before her, filled her with utter disgust.
“Why? Didn’t you say you were going to tell them? I was looking forward to it.”
“Y-You crazy bastard. Don’t you dare come near me again!”
“Don’t be so angry. I just came to give you a present today.”
Vallon’s unsettling smile widened as he held out a small brown pouch to Leticia.
“Here, take it.”
Leticia harshly slapped Vallon’s hand away. A hard object fell from the pouch and rolled on the ground with a clinking sound.
What could possibly be inside that? Why would Vallon have something to give her? Whatever it was, she was sure it couldn’t be anything good.
“I don’t need anything from you.”
“Oh, but if someone else picks that up and sees it, there might be trouble. Are you sure you’re okay with that?”
Vallon glanced at the pouch on the ground with a sly grin.
“I don’t mind. But it could reveal everything about what happened between us, you know?”
Everything that happened at the dormitory could be exposed to everyone? Leticia’s gaze fell uneasily on the pouch lying on the ground. What in the world could be inside that…?
Still, Leticia hesitated, staring at the pouch without picking it up. Vallon leaned in and whispered just loud enough for her to hear.
“I used that to jerk off a lot.”
What?
Upon hearing those words, Leticia had no choice but to act. She quickly picked up the pouch, clutching the small item inside it as tightly as she could with both hands.
Her heart pounded, as if it would burst out of her chest, terrified that someone might open it and see.
She didn’t know what exactly was inside, but she was certain it was something that would remind her of that horrifying day.
