How to Escape from the Yandere’s Crazy Obsession - Chapter 39
***
As the days grew shorter, by 7 p.m., the world was already pitch dark.
“Leticia, get home safe,” Kyle said, watching Leticia and Richelle enter the dormitory before turning to head back to the boys’ dormitory.
The moment he turned, his steps halted when he saw Vallon standing not far off, seemingly appearing out of nowhere.
What’s that bastard doing here?
Though his eyes were hidden beneath his hair, it was clear that he was staring at Kyle. An eerie chill ran down Kyle’s spine as he tried to ignore Vallon and quickly walk past. However, it felt as if his feet were glued to the ground, unable to move.
Vallon casually approached him, sneering as Kyle struggled.
“Why aren’t you moving? What’s keeping you there?”
“Urgh…! What the hell are you doing, you bastard?”
“Just dealing with a rabid dog.”
Vallon grinned as if amused, and suddenly Kyle felt his throat tighten, as though someone was choking him.
Within minutes, Kyle was gasping for air, white foam spilling from his mouth as he collapsed at Vallon’s feet, convulsing as if he were suffering from a seizure.
Vallon lifted Kyle’s head with the tip of his shoe, mocking him.
“Look at the dog drooling.”
Even though Vallon hadn’t physically touched him, Kyle’s body twisted uncontrollably. At that moment, Kyle realized that Vallon possessed some hidden power. The invisible force that had held him down that day was also Vallon’s doing.
“Figured it out now? You’re really slow on the uptake. Maybe I didn’t warn you enough,” Vallon taunted, nudging Kyle’s chin with his foot.
As he did, Kyle’s limbs contorted with sickening cracks. Despite Kyle’s screams of agony, Vallon simply watched, indifferent.
“Argh!”
“The one who should stay away from Leticia is you.”
Just as he was about to leave Kyle, who was now incapacitated and unable to walk, Vallon turned back—his gaze fixating between Kyle’s legs.
With a cold indifference, he stomped on Kyle’s g***n, crushing him completely, and then walked away toward the entrance of the boys’ dormitory, as if nothing had happened.

Leticia collapsed onto her bed, the room brightly lit. Her once-happy academy life had been a complete disaster ever since Vallon appeared.
“Haah…”
She let out a long sigh, spilling all the day’s exhaustion onto her bed. As she sprawled out, a brown pouch slipped out of her pocket. The scent of soap, reminding her of Vallon, emanated from the pouch. Disgusted, she quickly threw it far away, out of sight.
“Disgusting.”
With a loud clatter, the pouch hit the floor and disappeared from her view. Leticia covered her eyes with her arms, kicking her feet in frustration so hard that the bed shook.
“What does that crazy bastard want from me? Why does he keep hovering around me?!”
It was driving her mad, but there was no way to resolve the situation. As the only son of the Kattravan Duchy, there was no way the academy would expel Vallon. The only option to escape him would be for Leticia to quit the academy herself.
But how could I give up on this place? She thought bitterly. If she returned home, she’d be stuck in bridal training until she was married off, and that was the last thing she wanted.
Winter break was her only hope. If she could return home during the long winter break, maybe she could finally get away from Vallon.
She had fled from her suffocating home to come to the academy, but now, for the first time, she found herself longing to return.
Alone in her room, Leticia screamed and kicked into the air, but it did nothing to relieve her frustration.
“Agh! This is ridiculous! Why am I dealing with all this because of that stupid, creepy bastard?!”
All she could do was hope that over the long winter break, Vallon would lose interest in her entirely.
As her mind swirled with all these troubling thoughts, exhaustion overtook her. She hadn’t bathed yet, and it was still early, but her body felt like it was weighed down by wet cotton.
Leticia tried to shake off the sleepiness by tossing and turning, but the accumulated fatigue from nights of poor sleep finally won over. Slowly, she drifted into a deep sleep.
Once her body stilled, there was a sudden click.
And in an instant, the bright room was swallowed by darkness.
