How to Escape from the Yandere’s Crazy Obsession - Chapter 43
“It’s because I’m too sensitive… too sensitive…”
Every time Leticia dreamt of the shadow monster, her body would be drenched in sweat.
She was certain she had taken off her sticky underwear in her sleep because of the fluids that kept leaking, soaking both her sheets and clothes.
Quickly discarding what she was wearing, Leticia rushed into the bathroom. She felt an urgent need to wash everything off.
But the moment she saw her naked reflection in the mirror, she bolted back out of the bathroom.
“Kyaaaah!”
Her body was covered in dark red marks, and her chest bore large handprints that made it impossible to believe it was just a dream.
Some of the marks had even darkened as if freshly made. Her body, marked with signs of a s-xual encounter, made it clear that the nightmare hadn’t just stayed in the dream.
The thought that the shadow monster could affect her physical body in reality filled her with terror, clouding her vision.
“This… this can’t be possible… No, this is just a dream. I’m still dreaming.”
Shaking her head furiously, Leticia tried to deny reality.
But then, something caught her eye—a suspicious pouch given to her by Vallon. A faint light was seeping through the dark fabric.
Hastily, Leticia opened the pouch to see what was inside.
A transparent crystal, the size of a fist, displayed a scene on a continuous loop.
Leticia’s face went pale, and she trembled as she watched. Completely frozen, she covered her mouth with one hand while the crystal continued showing her the horrifying images.
It was a black space, with a blonde woman lying on the ground, and someone’s head buried between her legs.
It was the scene of Vallon and herself from that night.
“M-Madness…”
The crystal showed her hitting Vallon on the head and running out of the dormitory, followed by Vallon, who leisurely sat up on the couch afterward, as if nothing had happened.
Seeing this shocking footage, Leticia’s face twisted in fear, and she curled up as tightly as she could.
She had thought Vallon had been knocked out, but now she realized he was only pretending. The way he rose from the couch without a hint of disorientation made it clear he hadn’t been unconscious at all.
“He was faking it?”
It was evident that Vallon had done something to her. Perhaps he had cursed her to have these nightmares.
But why? What could be driving him to such lengths?
Leticia felt frustrated, unable to understand his motives. Had she wronged him in some way that she couldn’t remember?
“You were the one who seduced me first. How could you forget?”
A vague memory surfaced—something the shadow monster had said, questioning why she couldn’t remember.
Vallon was enjoying this twisted game. Leticia knew she had to confront him and put an end to this miserable charade.
Leticia didn’t sleep for the rest of the night. She feared that if she fell asleep, the shadow monster would violate her again. And now, knowing that it might not be just a dream, she couldn’t take that risk.
Resolutely, she wrapped a scarf around her neck to cover the dark marks that stretched up to her jawline and left the dormitory with a grim expression. Her first task was to find Vallon.
Ironically, Vallon, who had always been lurking nearby, was nowhere to be found now that she was searching for him.
“Why is he never around when I’m looking for him?”
As she searched, Leticia overheard some students whispering to each other, casting suspicious glances in her direction. Feeling a sense of unease, she strained her ears to catch their conversation.
“They say Kyle might not be able to walk again.”
“He’s lucky to be alive, honestly.”
“They say he’s in such shock he can’t even speak.”
“What are you talking about?”
Leticia cut in, pushing her way through the gossiping students. Some looked at her with pity, while others were visibly startled by her abrupt intrusion.
“Oh… Leticia, you haven’t heard?”
“Heard what? Did something happen to Kyle?”
“Kyle… he was found in front of the boys’ dormitory, with his limbs broken…”
“What?”
It felt like someone had just struck her in the head with a sledgehammer.
The image of Vallon’s face flashed through her mind. It felt as if Kyle’s injuries were entirely her fault, and she couldn’t even raise her head in shame.
Nausea welled up, and she bolted outside.
There, Leticia found Vallon sitting on a bench in front of the building. He was casually crossing his legs, humming to himself, as if he didn’t have a care in the world.
