How to Escape from the Yandere’s Crazy Obsession - Chapter 92
Vallon gently pressed down on her shoulder, speaking softly as if to make Leticia reflect once again.
“And Leticia, even if it were me, does it really matter? As long as you have me, that’s all you need, isn’t it? Your life isn’t ruined just because a few worthless people turned their backs on you, right?”
His words struck her ears, but they were completely unrelatable. There was no reasoning with Vallon. He acted like he was all she needed, but that wasn’t true for Leticia. She needed friends, family, and acquaintances. Vallon, who told her to let go of others, was the only one who clung to her even more tightly, while everyone else turned away.
Even in this situation, with Vallon constantly at her side, Leticia appeared to others as if she was obsessed with him, like a woman who couldn’t survive without a man.
“All I want is for that little head of yours to think only of me,” Vallon said with a calm authority.
Had the Kattravan family taken no action? Vallon, who would one day become the duke, was utterly obsessed with someone as lowly as her. Why hadn’t his family done something? Shouldn’t they be threatening her to stay away?
Or maybe they didn’t know yet? No, that couldn’t be. The entire academy was buzzing with gossip. If the Kattravan family found out, wouldn’t they do everything to separate her from Vallon?
There was no way such a prestigious family would accept her, a commoner. For the first time in a while, a glimmer of hope appeared in Leticia’s mind.
“Vallon, how big is the Kattravan estate? Maybe it’s because I was so young when I saw it, but I can’t really remember how large it is.”
She couldn’t bring herself to look directly into his red eyes, which seemed to peer straight into her thoughts. Instead, she fixed her gaze on the painting behind him as she asked.
“Why are you suddenly curious about that?” he asked.
“It’s probably a lot bigger than my house, right?”
“Probably. Do you want to see it?”
“Uh, yeah…”
Fortunately, Vallon brought it up first, making things go more smoothly than she expected.
“Then let’s go.”
“When?”
“This weekend, perhaps?”
“That soon?”
“What difference does the date make? You said you wanted to see it.”
So soon? The sooner, the better, she thought. But the ease of how things were falling into place also made her uneasy.
She glanced sideways at Vallon.
Was it really going to be this simple to visit the duke’s estate? She wondered how the duke and duchess would react.

The enormous blue gate swung open, resembling a giant snake opening its mouth. Even though she had agreed to come, something about stepping through that gate made her uneasy, and she hesitated to go inside.
A chill ran down her spine, making her second-guess her decision.
Leticia stared at the vast Kattravan estate stretching endlessly beyond the blue gate. It had felt enormous when she was young, but now the pressure of the castle felt even more overwhelming.
Maybe today she would get slapped. If it meant being freed from Vallon, she was willing to let them pull her hair all day long.
Please…
She silently hoped that there would be someone in this household powerful enough to restrain Vallon. Surely, even he wouldn’t act like a madman in front of his parents.
How did the Duke of Kattravan look again? She couldn’t recall his face. She had heard that he had stopped making public appearances quite some time ago.
One day, he just stopped showing up to any public events.
Still, the fact that the household continued to function smoothly suggested that the duke was in good health, didn’t it?
“Why aren’t you going in?” Vallon lightly tapped Leticia’s shoulder, sensing her tension.
“Oh… I will. But did you tell them I’m coming with you today?”
“Tell who?”
Vallon’s question caught Leticia off guard. He seemed genuinely confused.
“Your parents, or… someone else?”
“I’m the master here. Why would I need to tell anyone? Just go in.”
Vallon smiled, softening his eyes. It was a casual smile, but something about it felt off. It reminded her of the time he had encouraged her to look around his room with that same unsettling grin.
Should I turn back now?
His words from earlier echoed in her mind, making her hesitant to enter. Her feet refused to move forward, instead retreating a step.
“Why? Are you afraid I might lock you in here?”
Vallon picked up on her fear immediately. Trapped inside that enormous castle, she felt like she could be forgotten by the world, vanishing without a trace.
He placed his hands on her tense shoulders and whispered in a soft voice.
“Don’t worry. Do you really think I’d do that? I take my promises with you quite seriously.”
The fact that he could do such a thing was the very reason she was on edge. He claimed he wouldn’t, but the unease remained.
“Come on, let’s go in.”
“Okay…”
But since she had come all this way, there was no turning back. At least she had told Richelle that she was going to Vallon’s house today. If anything happened to her, Richelle would know it was Vallon’s fault.
Finally, she took a heavy step forward.
