How to Survive as a Princess in a Reverse Harem Game - Chapter 66
The familiar meant for espionage to send to Morris was caught by Nepheli.
Since familiars follow the caster’s level of magic, it was hard to notice unless someone had a greater understanding of magic or a keen sensitivity to mana.
The only ones whose magic surpassed Cirilla’s were Evgenia and Killis. Nepheli, with her damaged mana circuit, was assumed to be weaker than Cirilla.
But the moment the familiar was caught by Nepheli, Cirilla’s heart sank. She had to flee, but as a child, she lacked the ability to respond quickly. As a result, the familiar was torn apart, and the pain transmitted to her heart revealed her presence.
‘It’s all ruined.’
Nepheli would report her actions to Evgenia, and Evgenia would question Cirilla about why she did it. Morris would definitely hit her and tell her not to mention his name.
The future, which was vividly clear before her eyes, terrified Cirilla—until, unexpectedly, Nepheli told her she wouldn’t tell Morris.
Although Cirilla had expected a more troublesome request in exchange, Nepheli’s demand was nothing complicated. She simply asked for a signal so that she could recognize her.
‘Really, she’s changed.’
Just as Morris had said, Nepheli had changed. She was still fragile, but her presence was undeniably different from before. Her ability to attract attention had grown stronger, as if she had a magnetic pull.
Cirilla didn’t dislike this change in Nepheli. In fact, she liked it. It even made her want to get closer to her.

The day after Reno, Isaac, and Cirilla returned from the royal palace, Killis visited my palace as usual. He asked, adjusting his glasses, which he wore neatly as he inquired.
“Was yesterday’s outing worthwhile?”
“It was pretty good. I went out yesterday and saw the distribution center.”
“The distribution center, you say?”
“Yeah. Want to take a look?”
I handed the wooden box I had received from the supply depot to Killis. Although the smell of the medicine was unpleasant, strangely enough, if the lid of the box was closed, the smell disappeared.
That was a relief. Otherwise, my bedroom would have been filled with that awful smell.
“This is…… can I open it?”
I nodded and answered, “Yes.”
Killis lifted the lid slightly and then immediately closed it again.
‘Quick.’
I couldn’t help but admire his swift movements. He was so fast that I expected at least a hint of a fishy smell to escape, but there wasn’t even a trace.
“Indeed, it’s Hezica medicine. Did you get it from the supply depot?”
“Yes. I’d like to know more about this medicine. Not just the general knowledge, but the process of making it, starting from the herbs.”
“Fortunately, I believe I can help with that within my capacity.”
Killis waved his hand a few times, and a small basket appeared out of thin air, landing on my desk.
Did he just use magic to bring it over? Or did he use something like an inventory, like me?
A slight curiosity surged within me. Ugh, I’m curious, but I’ll save that for later……. For now, let’s focus on the task at hand.
When I checked inside the basket, I saw it was filled with blue plants.
“This is……?”
“That is Hezica. It’s the raw material of the medicine.”
“Is it a type of seaweed that grows in the ocean?”
“You’re quite knowledgeable. Have you looked it up already?”
“Not really…… It just looks slippery.”
The long, oval-shaped particles of seaweed, which spread out like a deer’s tail, were quite familiar to me. They were the green kelp, or ‘tot,’ as I knew it. (t/n: Hijiki, also known as ‘tot’ in Korean, is a brown, wild seaweed.)
But just because it looked similar didn’t mean it was exactly the same, so I needed to check more carefully.
“Can I eat it?”
“It probably won’t taste good, but would you be okay with that?”
“It’s fine.”
“Then, as you wish.”
I picked up the smallest stem and brought it to my mouth. As I chewed, it popped, just as I had expected.
‘It really is tot.’
When I first heard the name Hezica, I wasn’t sure, but after tasting it, I was certain. Now, the true nature of the Hezica medicine was clear.
‘It’s an iron supplement.’
It was definitely the right choice, considering it’s said to relieve headaches and be especially good for children and women. I was relieved it was a medicine I already knew.
“Killis, do you happen to know the cost of making this medicine and how much is typically produced?”
“It’s not impossible, but since it’s a system promoted by the royal family, we would need Her Majesty Evgenia’s approval.”
“How long would it take to get approval?”
“At the fastest, a day, and at most, you should receive a response within three days.”
That’s a bit ambiguous.
But not knowing it and using it would carry too much risk, so it was an unavoidable choice.
“Would it be okay if I asked you to handle it?”
“Feel free to ask. It’s not difficult at all.”
In fact, I was grateful he said that, since it must have been troublesome for him.
“Is there anything else you might need, aside from the documents related to the Hezica medicine?”
“I don’t think so…….”
I was about to say no, but I hesitated. Thinking it over, I realized there was something I needed his help with as a ‘mage’.
“Could you perhaps use magic for me?”
“Magic?”
“If it’s an electric-type magic, like lightning, would it be difficult?”
“No, it’s not difficult. But why do you need that?”
“Well, not right now, but later, I’ll need you to use it on something I want.”
“Understood.”
Killis nodded willingly.
‘Good, that almost became a problem.’
I felt relieved. Electric-type magic was essential for what I had in mind.
“Oh, and would it require Her Majesty Evgenia’s permission if I wanted to commission something from the royal forge?”
“It seems like it’s necessary. Should I ask about it?”
“Could you? There’s something I want to try making a few of, as a test.”
“Understood. I’ll ask when I apply for an outing pass later.”
Afterward, Killis bowed and left. I waited, hoping he’d bring back some good news.
