I Became a Barbarian's Bride - Chapter 27
“Your Highness… I…”
“Is your body so precious?! Are you that valuable?! Just because I touched you…”
At the Crown Prince’s words, Nisha’s face twisted with anger.
He had always been like this since they were young. He would appear whenever Nisha was in trouble or distressed, help her out on a whim, and then flatter her while touching her body.
If she dared to show any sign of dislike, he would immediately report it to his father or the current Empress, his stepmother, and then enjoy watching Nisha plead for forgiveness.
Because of this, Nisha had never once voiced her dislike. Ironically, however, in this moment, not even the Emperor or the Empress would defend the Crown Prince.
“If I get hurt… Xieman won’t stay quiet. Ugh… big brother.”
Breathing harshly with her throat half-blocked, she managed to force out the words. Using the title she never called him by, out of spite, the Crown Prince’s eyes bulged with rage.
“You…! How dare you…!”
The Crown Prince raised his hand. Nisha smiled.
“Are you going to hit me?”
Her vivid purple eyes stared directly at the Crown Prince. It was a gaze he had never seen before. Nisha had always looked down, never once meeting his eyes.
No matter what he said, no matter how unfairly he treated her, no matter what lies he used to put her in trouble, she always looked down and bit her lower lip, obedient and pathetic, a half-sister.
The Crown Prince’s cheek twitched violently as he became furious.
“If you hit me, I’ll go straight to the King of Xieman.”
She smiled defiantly and spoke clearly.
“If you want to lose your other arm, go ahead.”
With a pale expression, she didn’t avoid his gaze and spoke firmly, causing the Crown Prince’s eyelids to tremble with rage.
“You wretched little…”
“I’ve always wanted to tell you, brother, you’re like a dog in heat. You can’t even tell where to swing that thing between your legs.”
“You…!”
The Crown Prince repeatedly raised and clenched his fist, glaring at Nisha for a long time before finally turning around in a huff.
“I will kill you someday.”
Pfft, Nisha couldn’t hold back her laughter at the Crown Prince’s words.
He stopped in his tracks.
“You? Such grand dreams you have.”
“So… you want to die.”
With a cold smile, the Crown Prince drew the sword hanging at his waist with his one remaining arm.
Yes, like father, like son.
Once they lost their temper, they saw nothing else.
Nisha continued to smile faintly as she watched the Crown Prince approach.
Would she not be able to survive if her neck was cut in one stroke? She didn’t know because she had never experimented that far.
‘Maybe it’s worth testing now.’
If she died, that would be good, and if she couldn’t die… it would be time to think about escaping.
Her mind was a mess. She thought she shouldn’t die yet, but the imminent death felt so sweet that she couldn’t refuse it.
She knew that if she came back to life and it was discovered, she wouldn’t have peace, but she also thought that if her body was thrown into some trash heap, she might escape this hell.
Normally, she would never have such thoughts, but in her exhausted state, even that seemed sweet.
It was the moment when he raised his sword high and she calmly looked at the tip of the sword coming toward her.
“Yes, quite a dream. The next king of Roshan…”
