I Became a Barbarian's Bride - Chapter 34
During her few days in the farthest village of Xieman, Nisha secretly bestowed her life force on some potential farmland.
Her life force, which breathed new life into living beings, seemed to classify the land as a living entity. Whether it was because the soil itself was alive or the microorganisms within it, she wasn’t sure, but she could revive dead land.
She only used her ability on a few areas that could be used for farming in the early morning when no one was around. But when everyone saw the results in the morning, their jaws dropped, and she regretted her actions.
‘…I just wanted to grow some crops to eat.’
As she feigned ignorance in her embarrassment, Kagan approached with a peculiar expression and gently patted her hair.
Expecting to be questioned, she was surprised when he only patted her quietly.
Wondering what he was thinking, she kept silent.
Fortunately, until the day they left the edge village, nothing unusual or unfortunate happened to her. And, of course, Kagan didn’t question or inquire about it either.

“Princess, are you okay?”
“Oh, yes. How about you, Mary?”
“I’m fine! You know I’m sturdy.”
Except for Rad, who could ride a horse, Mesh and Mary rode with other guards towards the capital, and today marked the third day.
Nisha was quite good at riding, but since they hadn’t entered the capital yet, Kagan insisted she not ride alone, so she rode with him.
“How’s Mesh doing?”
“I-, I’m fine.”
Mesh, with clenched fists, replied, looking slightly pale.
The warriors and soldiers of Xieman were highly skilled horsemen, so the pace they were going was quite fast.
“Princess.”
“Yes.”
Mesh flinched and tried to hide behind Rad as the tall and burly Kagan approached. The previous encounter with the forceful Kagan had clearly left a significant impact.
“Today, we’ll rest well here, and tomorrow we’ll start early in the morning. Except for a lunch break, we plan to ride straight through and enter the capital by evening. Is that alright?”
“I’m fine, but…”
Nisha glanced worriedly at Mesh.
Still, Mary was managing somehow, and Rad had the stamina he had built up over time and wasn’t one to complain. But Mesh was a bit of a concern.
He already looked pale.
Moreover, it had taken him a while to get close to Xieman’s soldiers. Even now, he still found them difficult.
“I’m okay… I’ll r-rest well today!!”
“Are you really okay?”
“Yes!! Please, don’t leave me b-behind.”
“Of course. We won’t leave you.”
Nisha, closely observing Mesh, nodded and spoke to Kagan.
“As you wish, Your Highness.”
“Ah, Princess.”
“Yes.”
“I wondered how long you’d keep calling me that, waiting to see if you’d stop on your own, but it seems you’d continue indefinitely without a hint. I recommend you stop calling me ‘Your Highness’ once we reach the capital.”
Nisha tilted her head slightly at Kagan’s words.
“Of course, that’s still true, but once we enter the capital, you’ll officially be my wife. A wife doesn’t call her husband ‘Your Highness.'”
Reaching out, Kagan gently brushed her lips with his thumb as he continued.
“Of course, I do like it when you call me that…”
He leaned in slowly, bringing his lips close to her ear.
“It would be nice if you only did that in bed.
