I should have felt relieved, but one part of my heart still ached. Everything was over, yet I felt uneasy.

On the day of Michaelo’s execution, I looked out the window.

The sky was exceptionally clear without a single cloud. People remained tense about the changed Imperial family and temple. What had changed was that I no longer had to worry about Severus’s death. There was a small problem that arose because of this.

When he used to return injured, I had a reason to treat him, but not these days. Not only was he fine, but he was robust and busy all day.

“Albert, now that the mansion won’t be damaged and everyone is at peace, why is Severus so busy?”

“Well, there are more people seeking His Grace, and more people wanting Madam, so that might be why His Grace is busy.”

“I’ve been staying in the mansion since tea parties aren’t fun anymore, but should I occasionally go outside?”

“Hmm, that doesn’t seem like a good choice.”

Albert shook his head. I sighed and looked at the documents piled on the desk.

“But Severus seems very busy because of me.”

“If Madam were out of sight, His Grace would be like a wild colt… no, he would be anxious all day.”

“Hmm… but these days he doesn’t even come to the room.”

Albert cleared his throat at my words. Seeing his reddened face, I slightly raised the corners of my mouth.

“Now that we can finally spend a comfortable day together, I’m disappointed not to see him.”

“Ahem. Once this work is finished, he won’t be staying up all night.”

“The mansion has been repaired, assassins no longer come, but Severus doesn’t come to my room either. It feels empty. He should understand how I feel.”

If only he would get injured, I could use that excuse to devour him.

“Would it be better if we moved? Leaving this house and hiding somewhere no one knows, or maybe to the territory?”

Then perhaps the visits from those seeking me would stop.

Every time Severus chased them away, but the shameless ones, thick-skinned as they were, boldly demanded my power. If he hadn’t been guarding the door with his flashing, fierce eyes, my days would have started with harassment and ended with harassment.

Today, too, at the sound of someone calling my name from outside, Severus rushed out with quick steps. The knights tried to stop him, but to no avail.

“…I wonder if he’s using his strength in the wrong place.”

He should be using the hand that wields his sword to bind me. Instead of raising his voice to deal with people like that, he should be whispering sweet words in my ear. Not only that, if he, sweating and looking tired, made such an expression above me…!

It was disappointing in many ways.

“Duchess Blake! Please!”

My brow furrowed at the shouting from outside.

“Ignore them. Madam has no obligation to help those people.”

“I know. Don’t worry.”

Albert narrowed his brow and clicked his tongue. The temple had been rebuilt, and there had been many changes among the priests as well. But I didn’t turn my back on those who desperately needed help.

I used my power to treat those who needed healing in the slums or among children. Of course, since I operated in secret, only those who received help knew about it.

“Where do I need to go today?”

“To Ibellis village at the eastern end. There are few doctors there, so many people need help.”

“We’ll depart at dawn then.”

“Yes, you can rest until then.”

Albert briefly explained the schedule and left the room. I glanced over the documents on the desk, stretched, and got up from my seat.

It seemed he wouldn’t be coming to the bedroom again today. Well, if that’s the case, so be it. It doesn’t necessarily have to be the bed; the location doesn’t matter.

Severus looked at the clock.

“The work never ends.”

Today he had planned to put everything aside and go to Rilke. But again! Again! Damn it, those humans who didn’t know their place came looking for her, so he had no choice but to intervene.

The nobles would come to the mansion seeking treatment from her for even the slightest injury. Although she had said she wouldn’t use her power unnecessarily, they wouldn’t listen.

They whined about their slightly cut hands while looking at children who were dying. If he hadn’t had strength, he wouldn’t have been able to prevent all of this.

He turned his head, holding the back of his stiff neck with a tired expression.

“Your Grace. Today’s work is all finished. I have organized the list of people who need sponsorship in the slums and those who need treatment, and showed it to Madam. It seems we should depart at dawn for the schedule.”

“Has it already become that time?”

Albert glanced at him. He seemed to have something to say, so Severus raised his eyebrows and asked him.

“What is it?”

“Pardon?”

“You look like you have something to say. If it’s something you need to say before leaving, say it.”

“It’s nothing. Just that Madam has seemed lonely these days.”

“…Indeed, it’s been quite a while since we’ve slept together.”

Albert nodded. He actually wanted to reveal everything he had heard from Madam, but he couldn’t bring himself to say it, so he didn’t speak further.

“It will soon be time for departure. Madam has finished preparations and is already in the carriage.”

Severus rose from his seat, dragging his tired body. Since he couldn’t let her go alone, he hid his fatigue and headed toward the carriage.

He was surprised as soon as he got into the carriage. As the door opened, a hand suddenly reached out and pulled him. The strength was so great that he was immediately drawn in.

The problem was that the one who pulled him was none other than Rilke. Moreover, Severus, who had climbed into the carriage, ended up in a position where he was on top of Rilke.

“Severus, have you been holding back a lot?”

“No, well…”

It would be a lie to say he hadn’t been holding back. But it’s also true that he had been too busy to think about it. Seeing Rilke beneath him with sparkling eyes, he felt a tightness below.

He had been planning to go to her as soon as the urgent matters were finished anyway.

“Um, Rilke. First, let go of this.”

That was a lie. He hoped she wouldn’t let go. He wished the hand gripping his collar would hold onto him more tightly. It had been a while, so wasn’t it too much to mix bodies with her inside a moving carriage? But contrary to his thoughts, his body responded diligently.

His g******s, which had swollen taut, were being pressed down, causing pain. Her gaze moved downward.

“It’s too much to set it up like this and do nothing.”

She grumbled and naturally placed her hand on his buckle. He tried to remove his hand that was pressed against the carriage wall, but she was faster.

When his pants came down, his e***t p*nis sprang out. Rilke naturally stroked the s***t of his p*nis with her hand. A sigh escaped his lips at the soft touch.

“Haah.”

“You didn’t relieve yourself alone, did you?”

“How could I relieve myself alone, leaving you aside?”
