I Got a Job as the Demon King's Plaything - Chapter 42
“…I’ll be fine. Once I get treated, I’ll be back to normal in no time.”
“He’s definitely tormenting you more because he knows I can heal you. No, this won’t do. I have to say something to him.”
“No, please don’t! Milia, please don’t say anything. It’s not as bad as it looks, really.”
Milia cast Bonita a sympathetic glance. It was clear she didn’t believe Bonita’s claim. To be this bruised—just how much had she been suffering?
“There’s something important I need to ask.”
Bonita glanced toward the door that led to the adjoining room and lowered her voice.
“Can Hasreta’s power… reveal if someone is pregnant?”
“Oh, that would be under the domain of Hedopha, the protector of children, or perhaps the deity of medicine… Wait, hold on. You don’t mean to say…”
Tears welled up in Bonita’s eyes.
“Ever since I came to the Demon King’s castle… my monthly period hasn’t come…”
Milia quickly sat down on the chair next to the bed, gripping Bonita’s hand tightly.
“No, Bonita. Humans and demons can’t have children together. You don’t need to worry about that.”
“That can’t be true,”
Bonita shook her head, thinking of Rento.
“I know someone who’s a half-blood, part human and part demon. There’s no way they were lying…”
Milia furrowed her brow, tilting her head in confusion.
“That doesn’t sound right…”
But then she patted Bonita’s shoulder gently, speaking with reassurance.
“I’ll head back to the temple and look into it properly. Don’t worry, just wait for me.”
Milia tucked the sheet snugly around Bonita again as she stood.
“I’ll find out as soon as I can. You won’t have to wait five days.”
“Thank you… so much…”
“Think nothing of it.”
Milia gave Bonita’s shoulder one last comforting pat before leaving the room. Forgetting to close the door behind her, Bonita could still hear Milia’s bold voice outside.
“I’ve finished the treatment. But remember, while I’ve healed the external wounds, the patient still isn’t fully recovered, so keep that in mind! Understand?”
Teshiel’s low chuckle echoed back, and soon after, he entered the room. He approached the bed and, without warning, pulled the sheet off Bonita’s body. His gaze lingered over her, now tense with apprehension.
“If her skills weren’t up to standard, I’d have ensured she never spoke again.”
Teshiel’s hand gently traced over Bonita’s now unblemished chest. Her body, sensitized and conditioned, responded immediately—her n*****s hardening from his mere touch. With a low chuckle, he teased one with his thumb, causing Bonita to bite down on her lip. Was he going to start again right after her treatment? But instead, Teshiel did not torment her further. Instead, he lifted her into his arms.
“Ah…!”
As Teshiel carried her toward the door, Bonita let out a startled gasp. She was completely bare.
“Don’t worry. I’m just moving you to your new room.”
Teshiel swung open the door to the adjoining chamber. It was another spacious bedroom, complete with a private bath. He gently placed her on the bed.
“From now on, this is your room. Do you like it?”
Bonita’s face turned pale as she realized that her new room was right next to the Demon King’s own chambers.
The very next day, Milia returned to the Demon King’s castle. Her visit wasn’t scheduled, so instead of arriving early in the morning as usual, she came in the late afternoon.
“Ah, ah! Oh…”
At that moment, Bonita was being taken in the grand, ornate study. A knock sounded at the door, and Teshiel, still deeply buried inside her, glanced toward the noise.
“What is it?”
“The priestess from the Hasreta Temple is here. She says she’d like to meet with Miss Bonita.”
Milia? Bonita’s eyes lit up at the news, but Teshiel immediately began thrusting again.
“Hnnngh!”
“Tell her I’m busy.”
“Ah!”
“She says she’ll wait until you allow her in.”
“Oh, oh…”
“Let her wait, then.”
