Brigitta began to boss me around like I was a maid.
I was so shocked by the absurdity that I just stood there, speechless. When the Major paused his dressing to glare ominously our way, I feared he might blame me for scalding his lover’s tongue.
“Take it.”
However, the Major pulled out three ration cards from his wallet and tossed them, not to me, but to Brigitta. Both of us were stunned as we watched him.
He casually turned his head away and said,
“You were worth using. Leave now.”
It was payment for services rendered.
‘So, they aren’t lovers?’
Seeing my expression, Brigitta quickly brightened up as she snatched the ration cards that had fallen onto the dirty sheet.
“I’ll make good use of these. Thank you, Dietrich.”
She thanked him by name, wrapping her arms around him. So it wasn’t just payment…
“Ah…”
In a moment of confusion about whether they were lovers or if it was just a transaction, the Major clarified with his actions. He grabbed Brigitta by the hair and smashed her head down onto the bed.
“Agh!”
The Major didn’t stop with just her head. He unbuckled his trousers, exposed himself, and brutally thrust himself onto Brigitta, who was now prone and naked.
Thump, thump, thump.
The sounds of his ruthless strikes began to resonate loudly in my ears. While holding her head down on the bed, he growled through gritted teeth,
“How dare you, a mere b***h, call your master by name? Are you a dog that doesn’t understand human language? Have you forgotten what I told you? Do I need to beat it into you like a dog?”
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, Major! Ah, my mistake, please!”
Amidst her cries of pain that also mixed with moans of pleasure, I witnessed a human display of raw, primal behavior, just like animals in heat. It wasn’t just their mounting that was dog-like.
Even ignoring the presence of an observer as they continued their fervent coupling was animalistic.
Crash!
The sight was so shocking that the teacup I was holding shattered as it hit the floor.
That jolted me back to reality. I turned and nearly tripped over myself as I ran for the door, just as the Major’s stern voice called out behind me.
“Rize Einemann! Where do you think you’re running off to? Come here!”
The Major called out to me as if I were a dog. All the while, his incessant thrusting, which was more dog-like than his commands, continued unabashedly.
He expected me to just stand there and watch. This man must be rabid.
“It’s not running away, I just…”
I stammered, my hand trembling as I pointed at the shattered teacup I had dropped.
“I, I forgot to bring a mop to clean this up…”
As soon as I made up the excuse, I turned back and fled through the door. The Major gave a warning as I ran.
“Three minutes. If you don’t come back within that time, a naked man who’s mounting a b***h will come get you wherever you are!”
I ran anyway. I escaped into the early morning forest path without fear. Whatever might leap out from the shadows of the woods, it wouldn’t be the crazed dog named Felkner.
‘He’s definitely insane.’
There was laughter mixed with his last shout. He seemed to enjoy watching me panic and run. It felt like he had staged the entire scenario just to see my reaction.
‘Right. He seemed subtly pleased every time I was uncomfortable today.’
Lately, he had been pouring out vile comments, but since I remained unfazed, he found it boring. So, he must have looked for something that would elicit a reaction from me, using another woman as his tool.
And that woman had to be Brigitta. If it was the Major, he would know about the past incidents between our families and Brigitta and brought her in on purpose.
Perhaps they conspired together to harass me.
Though their reasons might differ, their goal to humiliate me was aligned, making their interests perfectly coincide. However, it seemed they hadn’t quite agreed on what roles each would play in their alliance.
“You were worth using. Leave now.”
Now I see, Brigitta was treating me like a maid and trying to throw me out, treating me like a prostitute. It means that looking down on me wasn’t the role assigned to her by the Major.
“I’ll make good use of these. Thank you, Dietrich.”
Whether she’s clueless or blinded by greed, when Brigitta called him by his first name as if they were equals, he immediately snapped at her in anger.
“How dare you, a mere b***h, call your master by name? Are you a dog that doesn’t understand human language? Have you forgotten what I told you?”
Was their affectionate behavior not part of the agreed-upon act? It seems the alliance was just Brigitta’s misconception, and the Major had simply brought in another dog to scare me.
“Do I need to beat it into you like a dog?”
Isn’t it enough that he had her subdued like a dog? It was already horrific, but there was no need to degrade her completely.
Especially in front of me.
‘Crazy bastard!’
Anyway, the Major’s strategy was a resounding success. I was so shocked that I completely lost my usual composure, stuttering and panicking in front of him, breaking the teacup.
The Major finally got the reaction he was looking for from me.
The sound of his laughter chasing me as I ran still echoed loudly, even above the pounding of my own heart.
The fact that my heart felt like it could burst out of my chest wasn’t just because I had been running nonstop for over an hour.
