- If You're Being Held Hostage, Wiggle the Carrot!
- Chapter 6 - A Carrot Dropped in Sorrow
Ivan grunted as he fumbled with his flaccid c*ck. The pain still outweighed his surprise.
“Ha…”
He had never been so humiliated in my life. The anger slowly built up, fueled not just by the surprise but also by the loss of his precious purity which he had cherished for his one and only companion.
“You!”
He called out, intending to confront whoever it was, but he couldn’t continue. The other person had collapsed. Upon closer inspection, the incapacitated being, unmoving even after several prods and pokes, must undoubtedly be a person. The fact that it was a living person, not a ghost, brought him a sense of relief that persisted despite everything.
“Was there a rabbit tribe with pink ears?”
Where on earth did this person come from…
Baffled by the long, pink ears that stood out, he leaned down to get a closer look. Quickly forgetting that she had bitten his precious member, he grabbed the pink ears and played with it.
“I thought the ears of the rabbit people were white.”
Examining the unfamiliar appearance with caution, he felt that something was off.
“Oh…”
Come to think of it, the chill that tormented him every night was no longer present. As everything that had been touching his body vanished, it now felt like he could truly live.
“Hmm…”
As he inspected the fallen Ruby, he noticed deeply engraved footprints on her back. Even though it was clearly his own footprint, he decided to set aside his caution for the time being.
“Ha, looks like this is going to be a pain.”
While he was glad to see the unpleasant spirits gone, he couldn’t help but feel that he had found something just as equally troublesome. But Ivan, no matter how suspicious he was, was not a man who would leave this little woman behind on a snowy mountain. Besides, he also had ended up stepping on her, which made her doubly his responsibility.
“Escaped from ghosts only to end up with a strange rabbit person. Haha… I’m exhausted.”
He sighed deeply, rubbed his weary eyes that had been deprived of proper sleep for a long time, then awkwardly rose to his feet. Carefully putting away his member into his pants, he tucked in his ears and tail in as well before wrapping her up.
A faint figure with light blue hair appeared and disappeared behind him as he descended the mountain, but neither a stunned Ruby nor an exhausted Ivan noticed.
* * *
“Ugh…”
Ruby, who had unknowingly kicked off the covers in her sleep, fumbled for them without opening her eyes. Pulling the blanket that hung on her hands over herself, she drifted back to sleep, enveloped in its warmth.
She breathed heavily, and the comforter began to slip away.
“Hmm?”
Too exhausted to fully open her eyes, she continued to pull the blanket over herself, murmuring. “Mom, I want to sleep a bit more…”
“Huh.”
Hearing her words, Ivan sighed in disbelief. Does this herbivore not know where she was right now? A part of him wanted to throw the blankets off of her, but he restrained himself. Instead, he stared intently at Ruby with a puzzled expression.
“Hmm…”
It wasn’t the first time he’d seen a herbivore. When he traveled to the capital outside of the Wolf Tribe’s territory, he’d encountered a wide variety of them. Among them, of course, were the Rabbits. In fact, in terms of the population ratio in the Stege Empire, herbivores outnumbered carnivores.
But as for the pink-eared rabbit people, he had never seen or heard of them.
“Hmmm.”
Watching Ruby sleep so soundly, even drooling, Ivan fell into deep contemplation. What should he do with this herbivore? She was too suspicious to be allowed to stay here, and he wasn’t sure she would get along with other Wolf Tribe members.
Lastly, he wasn’t inclined to leave the woman who, albeit not entirely, had taken away part of his purity in his mansion.
“…I treasured it so much for when I’d find a mate.”
As the head of a wolf tribe that allowed only one mate, last night’s events had been nothing short of disgraceful. However, blaming it all on her didn’t sit right with his conscience either.
Above all, the main reason he couldn’t easily make a decision was: “I don’t feel the chill when this woman is around.”
