Why was Felice hired as a tutor? Because Felice had another secret occupation—she was also a ‘relationship coach.’

“Sigh…”

Madam Vanessa let out a sigh, shaking her head.

“It’s so strange how people’s hearts work. They’re less interested in things that cling to them with intensity, but they’re always drawn to clouds that seem ready to float away.”

“Ha ha. Isn’t there a saying that men are like puppies? When you approach them, they pull away; when you distance yourself, they chase after you.”

Felice worked hard to align with Madam Vanessa’s mood, doing her best to comfort her employer.

For the Madam who was under stress from the Duke of course. Or rather, to pay back the large sum of money her father owed.

“It’s surprising to hear that coming from such a beautiful face. I suppose beneath Miss Felice’s proper appearance, a seductress is hiding after all,”

Madam Vanessa said, blushing slightly, before smiling at Felice. Felice winked back, as though it were expected.

“Of course.”

Felice’s voice was firm.

In reality, she had never been in a relationship, nor had she ever felt the touch of a man, making her a novice in matters of love.

“Have you ever seen any other ballet performances, Madam?”

Armed with shamelessness, Felice smiled brightly. Before the conversation could veer off in an unexpected direction and turn the spotlight on her, she quickly asked a casual question.

“Other ballet companies…? I don’t think I’ve seen any since I saw his performance.”

“Really? As it happens, I have a ticket to the Monte Carlo Ballet’s performance. Would you like to go and see it?”

“But that’s the day of his performance… Are you suggesting I go watch another ballet company instead?”

“Jealousy actually works much better than expected, Madam.”

“Do you think so…”

There was a hint of uncertainty in Madam Vanessa’s voice.

She was already struggling to win the attention of the ballerino who wasn’t opening up to her, and the idea of going to watch another ballet company at that time didn’t seem to sit well with her.

But Felice just smiled at Madam Vanessa.

Ten days earlier, Felice had accompanied Madam Vanessa to a ballet performance. As expected, the ballerino, being the star of the show, was highly popular with the ladies. Buried under a mountain of bouquets, he greeted the audience with a charming smile.

However, when Felice looked around, she quickly realized that there wasn’t a rich noblewoman like Madam Vanessa among the admirers. Most of the crowd consisted of young noblewomen dreaming of fairy-tale romance.

Additionally, through the theater’s manager, she had learned that the ballerino was the eldest son of a poor farming family, with eight younger siblings.

Having confirmed all of this, Felice was now certain that Madam Vanessa’s worries weren’t as serious as she had believed.

If Madam Vanessa were to turn away just a little, the ballerino would likely be horrified and chase after her, saying something like this:

“I didn’t mean to ignore you, Madam. But I was ordered to act this way by the ballet company, and I’m just a powerless member. Madam Vanessa, I’m truly afraid. Despite what the company says, I want to show you my true feelings. Would it be okay for someone like me to express this to you?”

Felice was confident he would say exactly that. Her years of experience as a relationship coach had given her plenty of insights into such matters.

Ballet companies with investors often taught their popular dancers, “Don’t give your whole heart away. You need to be elusive, just out of reach.” So, in that sense, the ballerino’s words weren’t entirely wrong.

But to Madam Vanessa, it would likely sound like a grand declaration of love.

Two people, one avoiding her unworthy spouse and the other, the surveillance of the ballet company, seeking a secret haven for love.

As Madam Vanessa had said, how could human hearts work like that?

In truth, Madam Vanessa had become so eager for his attention that, in a way, the ballerino had already succeeded.

“He doesn’t seem to be interested in me at all… Do you think he would feel jealous?”

Madam Vanessa asked in a hesitant voice.

But Felice, looking at Madam Vanessa’s beautiful face, nodded firmly.

“Of course, Madam. I’m sure it will work out.”
