It seemed that Ruth knew exactly what Luna was feeling as she silently cried, missing Kadan. His kindness in understanding her feelings made Luna break down even more.

Ruth spread his arms and pulled Luna into a hug. Her forehead collided with his chest.
He gently patted her back, pressing his lips to her crown and said, “Shh, it’s okay,” though his brows furrowed in frustration.

The unfamiliar Inut language dropped from the prince’s lips, landing on the backs of the women’s necks.
About thirty minutes later, his long stride halted in front of one woman. He inhaled deeply, his chest swelling like an animal’s as he sensed a familiar scent. A cold smile curled on his lips.
『I’ve found you.』
The prince reached out with his rough hand, grasping the chin of the woman who had her head bowed and lifting her face to meet his gaze.
『Long time no see, Luna.』
The prince muttered in the Inut language, which Luna couldn’t understand.
Though Luna’s eyes were dull after giving up everything once she saw the prince’s face, her focus returned sharply. Her light yellow eyes flickered left and right.
