My Perfect Omega - Chapter 118
“Take her to the underground prison immediately!”
“Yes, sir!”
“Master! My lady!”
The maid struggled in surprise at the sudden turn of events, but a single powerless maid was no match for a knight. As the maid was taken away, Leila gently asked Lucas,
“Why did you let her stay until now, only to take her away suddenly?”
“I intended to deal with them all at once, but I found it offensive that she dared to appear before you so brazenly.”
Lucas said this as he placed his elbow on the table and rested his chin on his hand. His languid expression and relaxed posture made him look exceptionally decadent.
Leila swallowed nervously, still not fully accustomed to his face. Sometimes, she even forgot to breathe. It was no wonder people said he was blessed by the gods.
Leila, who once resented having a nickname opposite to his, reconsidered her thoughts.
Lucas stared at Leila and casually asked,
“Do you want to visit Este manor one last time?”
Since the estate might disappear soon, he wanted to ask for her opinion. After all, Leila would be the one most eager for revenge.
“Yes, I want to go.”
She wanted to let them know that she had regained her sight. She also wanted to see the house where she was born and raised with her own eyes.
“Of course, if that’s what you want, we must go.”
He smiled lazily, still resting his chin on his hand. Leila couldn’t help but blush at the sudden onslaught of his face. Her eyes trembled as she looked at him, and Lucas’s smile deepened.

“Count! How can you abandon me like this?”
Sarah was furious and felt like she was losing her mind. After all she had done for her husband, how could he discard her just because her face was now like this?
“It’s not like that! I told you to go to a sanatorium, didn’t I?”
Benjamin said, though he couldn’t even look Sarah in the eyes. He kept recoiling as if he was dealing with something filthy, which made Sarah feel even more miserable. At that moment, Amelie, who had been standing nearby, intervened.
“Stop it! Because of you, I can’t even meet my colleagues!”
“…What?”
“Everyone in high society knows about your injury. Do you know how much they gossip about me behind my back?”
“How can you say such things to your mother?”
Sarah screamed, and Benjamin recoiled even more. Amelie twisted her face and shouted back.
“Then what am I supposed to do? They call my sister an invalid and you a monster!”
Sarah, breathing heavily, was shocked by Amelie’s words. Calling her a monster was too much, even for her.
“…I feel the same, Mother.”
Timo also suffered from hearing gossip about his mother. People whispered that they might be demoted back to commoners. The rumor that Timo and Amelie were born to a commoner mistress had been around for a while, but this was different.
“How could you treat me like this after everything I’ve done for you…”
Sarah, feeling deeply betrayed by her children, turned away from them and glared at Benjamin, who was pretending to be unaware. It infuriated her that her husband, who had always been indecisive, now acted as if he had nothing to do with this.
“How could you… I did everything with good intentions…”
While Sarah was speaking, the head butler urgently knocked and entered.
“Count, you must come outside immediately!”
Seeing the pale face of the head butler, Benjamin thought the inevitable had finally come. He quickly got up and headed to the lobby, thinking it must be investors affected by Sarah. But he was wrong.
“You…”
It was Leila.
