My Perfect Omega - Chapter 130
“Leila…”
“…Yes.”
Leila answered slowly in response to his call. Both of them sensed that the end of this knotting would mark the end of the rut cycle. Lucas placed his lips on the crown of her head and murmured,
“I love you.”
His simple confession made Leila smile softly as she replied,
“I love you too.”
For an entire week, they lived in a world that belonged only to them. It was an experience more enchanting than they had expected. However, Leila, thinking she didn’t want to do anything with him, not even kiss, for a while, deliberately tightened herself around his s***t, annoyed by its presence inside her.
“Ugh, Leila…”
Even though he groaned in discomfort, she tightened a few more times, only to end up moaning herself due to the stimulation. As they continued to play with each other weakly, they sensed the knotting coming to an end and closed their eyes. They fell into a deep sleep almost immediately.

Leila reclined comfortably on the couch, accepting the cherries Lucas was feeding her. He sat awkwardly on a small stool, looking like a sinner.
She chewed the cherries, then spat the pits onto her tongue and stuck them out for Lucas to take and dispose of on another plate. Despite this, Lucas didn’t seem annoyed. Instead, he chuckled.
“Hey, why are you laughing?”
“Ahem.”
After the rut cycle ended, Leila had immediately gone to see the doctor. She was advised to rest for a week. Although it was Lucas who went through the rut cycle, it was Leila who ended up bedridden with fatigue.
Having to cancel all her social engagements caused her some trouble, and she rested quietly in her room, but seeing Lucas made her want to act out.
She started picking on him for trivial things, but Lucas complied with everything she asked, making it amusing for her.
“I don’t even have the energy to smile, so you shouldn’t smile either, Lucas.”
“Hmm, really? But why can’t I smile?”
“It’s just too unfair. We went through the rut cycle together, but you’re the only one who’s fine.”
“…I’m sorry about that, but maybe it’s because of our physical differences? How about you try some light exercise at home?”
Leila, removing a cherry pit with a pouting expression, replied to his oblivious suggestion.
“Then, I’d like to try horse riding to build my stamina.”
“All of a sudden?”
“Yes, it’s stuffy and boring.”
Lucas pondered for a moment. He knew she needed more rest, but he felt pressured to grant her request to avoid upsetting her. Hoping his omega wouldn’t sulk, he carefully responded.
“Weren’t you fine staying indoors before?”
“…That was because I had no choice. I had no other options.”
Leila answered, incredulous, as she sat up straight.
“Just relax for a bit longer.”
“You won’t even let me walk around the room. This is worse than before.”
Her protest made Lucas avert his gaze. He was debating whether to tell her the real reason for his caution, but when he met her jewel-like eyes, he looked away again.
Seeing his suspicious behavior, Leila narrowed her eyes. The doctor had said she needed rest, but she felt there might be another reason.
Realizing how much people’s expressions could convey, she asked,
“…What is it?”
Lucas tried to smile and change the subject.
“Shall I get you something else if you’re tired of cherries? I asked them to bake your favorite—apple pie. Shall I check if it’s done?”
His obvious attempt to change the topic made Leila realize something. She asked in a trembling voice,
“Surely not, right?”
“…What?”
“The contraception ring. You said you wore it before.”
Leila quickly checked all his fingers. Seeing his bare fingers, she frowned and asked again,
“Where is the contraception ring?”
At the moment of truth, Lucas’s back was drenched in cold sweat.
