No Such Thing as a Chaste Man! Just Give It Ten Tries! - Chapter 5
His long silver hair, shining like molten silver, looked almost like a sacred halo. His face—unquestionably the most beautiful and noble Seo-ah had ever seen, directly or indirectly—looked as if the gods had poured their utmost care into crafting it.
His smooth forehead, seemingly untouched by time, sat above prominent brows, a straight nose without any sharp angles, deep blue eyes shining from the naturally shadowed eye sockets, and lips—just the right thickness, always sealed in a quiet mystery—that added to his air of mystique.
The contours of his face, finely drawn with delicate, elegant features, seemed to mirror his strong and virtuous character. His thick neck, prominent adam’s apple, and every feature exuded a sensuality that was undeniable.
Yes, that was it…
Just incredibly handsome…
Not only that. He possessed a skill with touch that no being in Genève could have imagined, making her melt again and again, only to stop short of anything further, leaving her frustrated.
“If he started something, he should have taken responsibility and finished it… so unreliable.”
Seo-ah muttered with her cheek resting on the table.
“Whether I’m writhing in frustration or making a fool of myself under the potion’s influence, he could have just left me to handle it alone, instead of making me hope for more…”
“Hey, at least the High Priest isn’t completely clueless about such things. That a relief in itself, isn’t it?”
The dwarf woman sitting across the table shrugged her shoulders.
Her name was Jenny, Seo-ah’s dear friend and alchemist, and the creator of the potion that had caused such a scene last night.
Curious if her invention had worked as intended, Jenny had come straight to the Holy Empire’s High Priest’s residence, where Seo-ah stayed, the very next day. Ever dutiful, Seo-ah had reported the previous night’s mishap.
Of course, rather than explicitly describing what Ephelinus had done, Seo-ah had earnestly explained her reactions to the potion—her body heating up, the strange ticklish sensation that calmed only when someone touched her, and how she eventually reached a climax as described on the bottle, releasing the tension only afterward.
It was impossible to avoid conveying the nature of the events, even though she had only tried to explain her symptoms.
“Since it was written in the ancient sacred language, I worried he might not understand it because it’s full of metaphors, but he understood right away… so he does know all he needs to know, huh?”
“Yes, I suppose it’s a relief… But it’s so embarrassing and annoying to think he’s been avoiding me all this time, knowing exactly what my attempts meant.”
Seo-ah puffed out her cheeks and pouted.
“Well, considering all the times you tried to seduce him with words and actions, our Seo-ah certainly isn’t shy.”
“Rurina…”
The elven woman sitting beside Seo-ah, resting against the corner of the table, gently stroked Seo-ah’s head. Seo-ah lifted her head and, resting her chin on the table, looked up with bright, grateful eyes.
Jenny and Rurina. They had full names of their own, but to Seo-ah, they were more like family than friends, the closest companions she had made since arriving in this world.
Not just friends, but comrades who had lived through countless hardships together, having spent three and a half years on a black dragon expedition together until recently.
In simpler terms, Seo-ah was an ‘otherworldly hero’. She had been summoned five years ago, gained powers unknown on Earth, and was hailed as a saint here, ultimately fulfilling the prophecy of the one god, Sol, to save this world of Genève. How? By vanquishing monsters.
Still though… She was called a ‘saint’, but Seo-ah’s powers leaned toward physical combat rather than spiritual blessings.
During her first year in Genève, she lived in the Holy Empire, learning the continental common language and basic knowledge of this world to help her adapt. Then, she joined the expedition team alongside representatives like Jenny and Rurina, traveling to the borderlands to confront and defeat the monsters that threatened Genève’s civilization.
They had returned only three months ago after completing their three-and-a-half-year expedition.
But upon her return, Seo-ah was met with an unexpected reward—one she hadn’t anticipated.
“To Lady Seo-ah, savior of Genève and saintess of Sol, we bestow the honor of the honorary regent of the new Genève Union and a privilege to return to her homeland, the planet Earth.”
“What? What does that mean…?”
“To fulfill this, High Priest Ephelinus of the Holy Empire has deciphered ancient texts and completed the reverse summoning spell. Material rewards, including three chests of gold and jewels, will be presented in accordance with Genève’s laws and will await her on the planet Earth…”
And this, of all things, was the absurd reward that her first love—her unrequited love and strength throughout the grueling three and a half years—had specially prepared for her.
But there’s just this one problem.
Seo-ah did not want to go back.
