Occasionally, I would find long nail marks on my body, with no memory of when they had appeared. Johann always kept his nails short and handled me carefully, like silk, so those marks weren’t from him.
It turned out the culprit was me. For some reason, my sensitive skin easily got scratched from the lightest touch.
When Johann returned from the bedroom, he held the small scissors I used for sewing. Instead of handing them to me, he began to trim my nails himself.

If I could trim my nails myself, Johann would no longer do it for me. I wasn’t simply leaving it to him because he was better at it.
As he skillfully turned the scissors to round off the tip of my index finger, he made sure the cut was smooth. After touching the tip of my finger, his lips curved into a smile.
Each moment he meticulously groomed me and smiled with satisfaction made my heart swell. I felt like a naive princess cherished by a knight. At the same time, like the only masterpiece of a sculptor who craved perfection. Of course, it wasn’t just pure excitement that made my heart race.

Every time Johann’s firm fingertips brushed against mine, it felt like my heart might burst. Despite living so close to him, with the ability to share our bodies whenever we wanted, I found myself inexplicably tightening my legs with every innocent contact that carried no lewd intentions.
I absentmindedly flicked one in front of his lips, fully aware that he wouldn’t be interested in my legs as he was focusing on my fingertips. Johann narrowed his eyes as if bothered, and when I didn’t stop, he parted his lips, which had been curved upwards.
