Saving My Childhood Friend Through... Questionable Means... - Chapter 8
“No matter what, this is impossible. How could it be you and me, of all people? I can’t do it.”
Impossible? It certainly didn’t look impossible to Seria. Her puzzled eyes drifted toward the bulge hidden under the blanket.
Feeling her gaze, Lucas cleared his throat awkwardly and tightened his grip on the blanket. What is this? He’s already hard, so why is he saying such things?
The fact that he was clinging to his pride at a time like this, when he would die if they didn’t have s*x that very night, was enough to drive her mad. Seria sighed and glanced down at her body, clad in nothing but her underwear. Though they were friends, standing there almost entirely naked in front of him still stung her pride.
‘How can he have this much self-control with this body right in front of him?’
It seemed the vows of a paladin weren’t entirely meaningless after all. Even with his body reacting, he still refused to compromise his convictions. Still, if she were going to back down, she wouldn’t have started this in the first place. Resolute, Seria climbed on top of the blanket Lucas was holding, positioning herself exactly where she needed to be.
“Ugh!”
As she gently lowered her hips, even with the down comforter between them, Lucas reacted sensitively. His muscular body trembled, and a suppressed groan escaped from his tightly shut lips. He couldn’t even get angry at Seria, knowing she was doing this to save his life.
Though Seria had worked up the courage to sit on him, she was startled by the sheer weight and size of what she felt beneath the blanket. Still, she steadied herself, her expression grim, and moved her body. As she shifted on top of him, positioning herself over his arousal, Lucas let out a hot, labored breath. Unable to bear it, he repeatedly exhaled deeply and tried to stop her.
“Ah, Seria… Ugh, please… don’t move your hips.”
“Why are you saying you can’t do it when you’re already this aroused? You know there’s no other way!”
There was no response. The suffocating tension in the air made Seria’s mouth dry. His body was saying it was possible, yet the man himself kept rejecting it. If this continued, Lucas would die. If he kept clinging to his pride, she would have to take the initiative.
Determined, Seria widened her eyes. But despite her resolve, her body remained frozen, stiff as a statue. It was too embarrassing to take the lead with a friend who was so clearly resistant. This was precisely why she had told him to wear the blindfold in the first place. Now that he had seen her, moving forward felt unbearably awkward.
They couldn’t waste any more time.
‘This has to happen, one way or another…!’
With her decision made, Seria silently took his rough, calloused hand and guided it to her chest.
“Ah…! Seria.”
The soft, supple sensation against his palm made Lucas’s muscular body tense up like a tightly wound spring.
He exhaled short, shaky breaths and trembled, unsure of what to do. His other hand repeatedly ran over his face, as though trying to wake himself from this surreal moment. The hand on her chest froze completely, refusing to budge, leaving Seria’s face flushed with embarrassment.
“You… you’re unbelievable!”
“What? What did I do?”
Seria glared at her friend, her frustration overflowing. Lucas averted his gaze, rolling his eyes away from hers, which only made her angrier.
“You think this is easy for me? I worked up all this courage, and you should at least respond! I’m not doing this for any reason other than to save your life! At least pretend you’re trying! No—actually do it! You have to do it!”
“Ugh!”
Seria, now fuming, got off him and whipped the blanket away with a swift motion. The sudden exposure left Lucas’s fully aroused lower half completely visible.
Stunned by how abruptly his lower half was laid bare, Lucas’s jaw fell open. His eyes, however, were drawn to Seria’s chest, which was now unobstructed, her hair no longer hiding it from view. His pupils shook wildly, and with each tremor of his gaze, his arousal, straining against his underwear, visibly pulsed.
Panicked, Lucas hastily covered his eyes as though denying his own reaction, trying to sit up. However, his firm, upright arousal made it difficult for him to sit properly, leaving him in an awkward half-crouch. With his head hung low, he stammered as he tried to speak.
“Ah… no. Seria, you’re going to regret this later. Just stop now—”
“Lucas, regret is something you deal with when you’re alive.”
Before he could finish, Seria interrupted him with a firm voice.
“Ha… I just…”
Lucas pulled his hand away from his eyes and ran it through his disheveled hair.
When he looked up, he was met with Seria’s violet eyes, shimmering with unshed tears.
The sight of her teary eyes filled his chest with a rush of unfamiliar emotions, making it ache with a heat he couldn’t describe.
