Tamed Monster - Chapter 23
Ah, just imagining it was already causing trouble on this side.
The image of the woman’s goosebump-covered skin near her collarbone, which Kuinan had carefully observed a few hours earlier, vividly surfaced in his mind—and his body involuntarily reacted.
Only then did Kuinan begin to grasp the true nature of his desire.
‘So, you want to have s*x?’
He glanced at the woman’s pale cheeks, flushed with restlessness and surprise. Neither of the two women inside the room seemed to notice who was silently standing outside the window.
After all, a human would assume you couldn’t reach the third-floor balcony without passing through the room. But as a monster, he could infiltrate in the blink of an eye.
“It’s not yet the prime time for pregnancy. Once my cycle starts, then I’ll give it a try.”
After a long silence, Sylvia finally spoke with a heavy voice. Her fist trembled slightly with indignation.
Rossa watched Sylvia’s expressionless, pale face with displeasure. As if she was a vicious cat ready to devour a mouse. Or perhaps a far uglier creature.
Once the conversation paused, Sylvia asked permission and slowly rose. Rossa, waving her off rudely as if shooing a bird, gestured for Sylvia to leave.
Momentarily distracted from Rossa, Sylvia’s vacant gaze drifted toward the balcony.
“Hmm.”
Kuinan quickly hid himself and crouched quietly, holding his breath there for a moment. About a minute later, he cautiously lifted his head.
By then, Sylvia had already left the room. Only the woman lounging lazily in the armchair remained, sighing heavily—her alluring figure at odds with her wrinkled face, a strange woman overflowing with vitality and desire.
Whenever she returned to the palace, the strong scent of someone’s s***n lingered around her.
“Ah, damn it.”
Repulsed by the woman who reached between her thighs, Kuinan quickly jumped down from the balcony and hurried out of Rossa’s room.
Just witnessing that unpleasant scene caused his arousal, which had been standing tall, to deflate. Thinking again of Sylvia, his body involuntarily shuddered and began to swell with excitement.
With a sigh, Kuinan was eager for some distraction to relieve his boredom. He hummed a tune as he climbed the stairs, taking four steps at a time.
“There’s nothing wrong with me.”
If a woman were to seduce him first…
All he had to do was accept—and give her a memorable experience, taking care to avoid killing her.
In truth, he didn’t care if the woman died; his concern came only from his lustful urges, which had risen for the first time in 300 years. Once satisfied, that would be the end of it.
As he passed the middle of the stairs, pale moonlight filtered through a window, brushing his cheek and adding a glow to his piercing blue eyes.
The blue light, suffused with demonic energy, openly flickered with murderous intent.

In the sticky swamp, a dark head peeked out.
Despite being soaked in the slimy muck, a pale face emerged from among the neatly spread hair, like dense foliage. Revealing himself fully, Hector began to shake off clumps of the sticky mud clinging to his body.
“Hector.”
Towering at 2.3 meters tall, Hector was massive compared to the relatively smaller monsters that swarmed him like a pack of crocodiles.
The first to call his name was a creature half insect, half human. Its eyes were unnaturally large and almond-shaped; lips short and small; nose pointed sharply. The six monsters gathered around Hector all shared similarly unpleasant, unnatural appearances.
“What is it, Roman? Here to complain again?”
Ignoring the crowd that had gathered, Hector spoke curtly.
After Kuinan mysteriously disappeared from the swamp, Hector somehow became the leader of the western swamp territory.
Kuinan and Hector were evenly matched in strength. They had fought five times over hundreds of years, nearly to death each time. Monsters could heal most injuries if given enough time. So far, Kuinan had won twice, Hector three times.
‘Thinking about it, I should’ve been the boss of this area from the start.’
