The Baddest Villainess Is Back - Chapter 211
“This place is…”
“It’s Mom and Dad’s room!”
“……”
It was a bright and lavish room, fitting for a newlywed couple.
Roxelyn looked around the room briefly, then walked over to the bed and sat down heavily.
Arma’s eyes widened as he finally noticed.
“Roxelyn, are you feeling all right?”
“Yes, I’m fin…”
Roxelyn instinctively started to reply but then stopped.
She glanced at Arma, gauging his reaction, then rubbed the back of her neck before speaking again.
“No, I’m not feeling that great.”
She had walked nonstop for quite a while, and she couldn’t shake the feeling of cold sweat running down her back.
“…I’m sorry. I was so preoccupied with other things.”
Arma had been on high alert, wary of any potential danger, that he hadn’t paid proper attention to Roxelyn.
Feeling his mistake, he rubbed his face roughly.
“No, I just didn’t mention it.”
Arma knelt down on one knee and gently took off Roxelyn’s shoes.
Even though her shoes had barely any heel, her feet were swollen from the long hours of strain.
“Eek!”
“Mom and Dad are having a romantic moment!”
“Gasp, should we give them some privacy?”
“Are we going to get a younger sibling?”
“I heard that if Mom and Dad hold hands under the covers, we’ll have a baby sibling!”
“Shh, what if we surprise them? Let’s go ask for a new sibling!”
Arma, who had been about to massage Roxelyn’s feet, froze at the voices and gazes coming from behind.
His face flushed bright red.
In his embarrassment, he looked up at Roxelyn.
Unexpectedly, Roxelyn, who he thought would be expressionless, was looking at him with slightly surprised, trembling eyes as he knelt in front of her holding her foot.
“…Roxelyn?”
As Arma called her name hesitantly, Roxelyn paused, then nodded as if nothing had happened, her face calm and indifferent.
“Yes.”
“That… never mind.”
Completely forgetting what he was about to say, Arma struggled to gather his scattered thoughts, his mind going blank as he continued to massage her feet.
Under Arma’s gentle touch, Roxelyn’s cheeks flushed red.
She raised a hand and rubbed her face.
‘…This is driving me crazy.’
She’d thought she could suppress her feelings, but each time like this, her heart would pound so hard it made her want to scratch herself with her nails from the ticklish sensation.
“It would be nice to have some cold water.”
“Huh, cold water? Is that what you need?”
At the clear voice from behind, Roxelyn looked up, and Arma quickly stood and turned around.
“Hello, Mom, Dad?”
A blond-haired boy, arms crossed, smiled as he leaned against the door.
While the other children appeared to be between six and ten years old, he was clearly an adolescent, appearing around the same age as Roxelyn.
Roxelyn’s gaze darkened slightly.
“It’s Ed!”
“It’s Brother Ed!”
“Brother! Our new mom and dad are here!”
“They didn’t even flinch when they saw us!”
“Dad even patted my head?”
The children rushed over to the boy, chattering excitedly.
“Really? Is that so?”
The blond boy listened, ruffling the other children’s hair roughly.
Behind him stood a smaller boy, at least a head shorter, who peeked out shyly from his hiding spot.
The boy had black hair, like Arma’s, and blue eyes.
The black-haired boy also looked like a porcelain doll, but unlike the others, he had an expressive face.
He looked nervous, hiding behind the blond boy, and Roxelyn glanced at Arma, holding his hand.
“Roxelyn.”
Arma turned and wiped the cold sweat off Roxelyn’s cheek with his hand.
“Come on, Mom doesn’t look well, and Dad said he needs cold water.”
The blond boy, seemingly intent on sending the children away, began to speak kindly.
“Oh, that’s right!”
“And Mom must be hungry too, so bring something she can eat.”
“Got it! Let’s go hunting, everyone!”
“Okay!”
“Mom, we’ll be back!”
Roxelyn gave a slight smile as she watched the children bouncing off, waving enthusiastically.
“Yes, be careful on your way.”
At Roxelyn’s farewell, the children paused.
