The Crown Prince's Courtesan - Chapter 12 🔞
A fresh grapefruit scent slowly began to push back the damp, forest-like aroma in the air. Bit by bit, the pheromones tangled and mingled. Meanwhile, Marie’s face had turned so pale it looked almost blue, while the Crown Prince’s mask-like expression remained disturbingly unchanged.
And then—
‘I really hate this. Because I’m an Omega.’
As their pheromones clashed like sword and shield, Marie felt changes stir within her body. The Omega’s body, drinking in the Alpha’s pheromones, reacted. Like tears of joy, a delicate part of her she had never properly touched before began to drip wetly with her own secret fluid. She felt as if her hips might start to sway on their own.
No. I hate this. I hate it.
To hold back the overwhelming sensation, Marie bit down hard enough to draw blood on her lips.
Then, suddenly—
“Not bad.”
“…!”
The Alpha’s pheromones were cleanly withdrawn. Marie gasped, pulling back her own pheromones as well. What just happened? What did he do?
“Not bad at all.”
Marie blinked, stunned.
“What, it’s ‘not bad’…?”
“Yes.”
“Were you testing me?”
“Isn’t it essential to check before buying any sort of goods?”
“Goods?”
“Why? Does that offend you?”
He said this as he annoyingly unclasped his cuff and rolled up his sleeve, revealing a forearm veined thickly with bulging muscles that immediately caught the eye.
“You, courtesan.”
Their eyes met slowly. Marie swallowed hard. Was this what seduction felt like? In those vivid purple eyes, there was clearly a hidden lust. As the stiffness crept up her neck, she felt pierced by a thrown spear.
“You’re a dominant Omega.”
“…!”
Her heart thudded at his words. The rush of excitement suddenly drained away.
He was already preparing to take hold of her leash — the secret she had hidden completely.
“Marie Alphrose. A dominant Omega, isn’t that right?”
So he already knew everything. From the moment he approached, from the moment she realized he was the crown prince, she had guessed her secret would be laid bare. But it was even more humiliating and terrifying than she imagined — like standing naked before him.
“I… I don’t know what you mean.”
“Listen carefully, Marie Alphrose. I—”
“Ah!”
The man stretched out a long arm and grabbed her jaw. It didn’t hurt, but the pressure was strong. His large hand was solid at every joint. As she steadied herself, clutching the table with trembling legs, his burning cold gaze came inches from her face.
“Don’t like lies.”
“Ugh! Ah, please!”
“So answer me truthfully.”
Marie gritted her teeth.
“Let go… please let go. Just because Your Highness knows my secret doesn’t mean you can treat me like some cheap object.”
The man narrowed his eyes, sneering.
“In that case, I’ll pay the right price. Tell me, how much do you want for your body? If it’s money, I’ll pay any amount.”
A burning wave of humiliation engulfed her body. Marie glared at the noble heir.
“Why me? If you’ve done your research, you already know. I cannot accept His Highness, a dominant Alpha. I am…”
“Your body’s ruined, isn’t it?”
“And yet you still…”
“Ridiculous. Do you think I’m buying you without knowing that?”
At that, she squeezed her eyes shut.
The man smirked cruelly and tore into her with harsh words.
“I’m buying you because you’re damaged. There’s no Omega who can properly receive my pheromones. But then you showed up.”
Her heart dropped. She understood why he wanted to buy her. Just as she feared, cold words followed.
“You might be the one. A dominant Omega who doesn’t get pregnant means I can do as I please with no complications. Isn’t that so?”
“No complications…”
“Tell me. Why wouldn’t I buy you?”
“A very simple reason. You need me, you can buy me, so you will. Right?”
“You’re quick to understand.”
He spoke so easily. She felt like cattle being appraised and sold back and forth.
What was even more miserable was that when his insulting touch landed on her, her heated Omega body started responding eagerly.
‘…!’
A flood of slickness poured out. She twisted her thighs to stop it, but the man watching so close couldn’t have missed it. His narrowed eyes mocked her.
Her gaze, blurry and fixed on his lips, shut tightly again.
“The scent is overwhelming.”
