The Dialectic of Master and Slave - Chapter 8
Jaha had been spending time in the library as usual before heading back to her quarters. She was probably a bit more excited than usual, thinking about finishing an interesting book she had found after a long time.
In principle, slaves weren’t allowed to freely remove items from the library, but thanks to Ranya’s accommodation, Jaha often took unfinished books back to her quarters.
In this world without computers, mobile phones, or gaming consoles, an interesting book was an extremely valuable item. Paired with snacks, it created a small paradise.
Jaha had been happy thinking about reading while nibbling on cookies received from Ranya earlier. But then the emperor appeared.
At first, she didn’t even know it was the emperor.
When people around suddenly began bowing or prostrating themselves, Jaha immediately pressed her forehead to the floor. She wasn’t even curious who it was. She just hoped the storm would quietly pass. However, the storm’s footsteps stopped near Jaha.
“The Twilight of the Idols, is it?”
At the voice reciting the title of the book she was holding, Jaha felt a chill run down her spine and her skin break out in goosebumps. There was no time to be caught up in impressions about whether the voice was pleasant or not. Jaha was struck with shock merely from the fact that she had caught the attention of a fierce wind that could tear her to pieces if something went wrong.
“Why does a slave have a book?”
“The librarian sent me on an errand.”
When trying to organize her hazy consciousness, Jaha produced the prepared answer. Ranya had told her to say this if such a situation arose. The librarian had the authority to remove books from the library.
After silently giving her thanks to Ranya, Jaha reminded herself to stay completely alert. Though she didn’t know the man’s exact status, it was clear he was in a position to determine Jaha’s life or death.
Bluntly put, slaves were beings that could be killed as long as compensation was paid to their owner. In Korean terms, it would count as property damage rather than murder. Therefore, she always had to be careful of her every move.
She absolutely must not fall out of this man’s favor.
While waiting tensely for the storm to pass, for some reason, the sound of departure wasn’t heard.
What is it?
Why isn’t he leaving?
She couldn’t guess what was happening above her head. It was then, while Jaha was trembling with anxiety, looking only at the ground.
“Today, I’ll use ‘this one.’”
An incomprehensible sound was heard, and another man respectfully answered.
“Yes, Your Majesty.”
At the unexpected words that entered her ears, Jaha froze right where she was.
Emperor, of all things.
Undoubtedly the most dangerous being in this world.
The very person she had hoped never to meet.
An opponent wielding both absolute power and the dangerous force of magic. Even nine lives wouldn’t be enough if one got involved with him. While praying to never encounter him in order to safely return to her original world, how did it come to this…
Perhaps because she was shocked senseless by the stunning revelation of identity. Jaha couldn’t deeply consider the meaning of the words that came from the Emperor’s mouth. Even while being dragged away and washed by the maids, she never imagined she would end up in such a situation.
The Emperor spread Jaha’s legs without even simple foreplay and immediately pushed in his terrifyingly large organ. An insertion solely to satisfy his own desires. Jaha was merely a means, a tool.
The thick head forcefully spread the entrance as it invaded, and the thick flesh that followed pushed its way in stubbornly.
When it wouldn’t enter easily, the Emperor ordered her to relax her muscles, but Jaha couldn’t. It was too big. It was already horrifically painful, and there was no way she could take any more.
As Jaha trembled, unable to do anything, the Emperor clicked his tongue in displeasure, grabbed her legs tightly, and thrust his hips even more forcefully. As if to say he would force his way through if Jaha wouldn’t relax on her own.
Due to merciless actions, horrific pain arrived. Whether it was an auditory hallucination or not, she thought she heard something tear with a ripping sound down below for a moment. Though she couldn’t confirm it with her own eyes, it felt like blood was flowing from inside.
Fear came rushing in.
What if something goes wrong?
If a problem occurs, can it be treated with this world’s medical technology?
No, even if there is a hospital, would a slave be allowed to enter?
The Emperor didn’t give Jaha room to worry about any future beyond that. For the first time, Jaha acutely realized that concerning oneself with the future was a luxury only possible when one was barely managing to live.
