The Dragon Duke's Wife - Chapter 42
Her body protested, clenching tightly around him as though unwilling to let him go.
“Ahh!”
He thrust back into her, harder this time. Ancia cried out, her arms wrapping around his neck.
“Ahh, Kal… Kal! Please… ahh…”
After several thrusts, he kissed her while buried deep. He was unable to resist the sweetness of her lips. The sound of Ancia’s pleasured cries under him and how she responded to his kisses was intoxicating.
“I can’t… I can’t hold it anymore… I feel like I’m going to lose my mind.”
“I’ve already lost mine, Ann.”
He gently thrust deeper. Everytime, Ancia whimpered and sobbed.
“Do you like me?”
“Yes, Kal… I love you. I love you. … Ah, it’s so hot… I can’t…!”
Half delirious, Ancia murmured her words until she felt Khalid’s length swell further inside her and screamed. At this point, even the smallest movement felt overwhelming.
Khalid wrapped her tightly in his arms, lifting her hips slightly by cradling her lower back. Ancia instinctively wrapped her legs around his waist.
Held tightly against him, Khalid released himself deep inside her.
“Ah… ahhh!”
Her stomach was hot with the warmth of the fire dragon’s release. Her walls reacted to the climax by clamping on him hard. Ancia cried out in bliss.
Khalid held her close, emptied his every last drop inside her.

The next morning, Ancia felt a fever rise. Her eyelids were heavy, and her stomach was burning. She couldn’t even get up, lying buried in bed as she blankly gazed up at Khalid.
“Sorry.”
He apologized awkwardly. No matter how much the Dragonheart had tamed her, Ancia’s body was still human. She couldn’t take the fiery passion of the dragon blood seven times in one night.
Yet, caught up in his own desires, Khalid had gone on until she overflowed. Even though Ancia had kept accepting, he had indulged in his pleasure a little too much, especially since it was his birthday.
The doctor, hastily called over, took her temperature and examined her before asking.
“When was your last menstruation?”
“It should be soon. It’s a bit late this month… I think it’s been about ten days.”
Ancia answered, hiding her face under the blanket in embarrassment.
Her body was covered in marks. Usually, he only left marks on the upper chest or at the nape of the neck, but last night, in his overwhelming excitement, Khalid had even bitten her thighs and the back of her hands. She was embarrassed to show the doctor all of it.
“You seem to be pregnant.”
Ancia’s eyes widened. Khalid raised his voice.
“Is that true? Don’t say ‘seems like,’ just make sure!”
“I’ve never examined a pregnancy with dragon blood before, so I need to check in more detail, but I don’t think I’m wrong. My mentor taught me to be most careful with this part.”
The doctor, though slightly excited, held back and spoke calmly.
A brief commotion followed. Both Khalid and Ancia were tense as they waited for the results. Normally, confirming a pregnancy in the first month would be difficult, but the doctor, confident in his skills, assured them it was different with a child of dragon blood.
And as confident as he was, the pregnancy was confirmed.
“The descendant of the Fire Dragon is growing.”
Upon hearing those words, Ancia almost screamed, but she covered her mouth with both hands. Khalid’s intentions were clear, and after swallowing a piece of his Dragonheart, she had become his mate.
There were no longer any objections from anyone in his family. Still, as Ancia, who had been asked to bear an heir as a condition for being recognized as the Duchess, she couldn’t help but feel uneasy.
Most of all, she was happy that she could safely carry the child of the person she loved. Just knowing that Khalid’s seed was growing inside her made her feel proud and joyful.
Khalid opened his mouth, then burst out laughing loudly.
“Ann! Thank you!”
“Ah!”
He rushed to hug her, causing Ancia to gasp in surprise, and she was silenced by his kiss.
Thinking about others being present, Ancia tried to push Khalid away, but she couldn’t resist the deep, passionate kiss, and she wrapped her arms around his neck. The doctor cleared his throat, making a sound to get their attention.
“Please control yourselves.”
“Ah!”
Startled, Ancia pushed Khalid away. Khalid, with a dissatisfied look on his face, placed his hand on her lower abdomen and spoke.
“Why?”
“The early stages of pregnancy are sensitive.”
The doctor looked at him with an incredulous expression. How could he kiss his wife like that in front of others without considering that the doctor might advise him to be careful?
“Miscarriage is more likely at this stage. You need to be careful with everything, avoid strenuous activity,… especially with the Duke… well, you know.”
Ancia’s neck flushed red with embarrassment, and she couldn’t bear the shame, quickly covering herself with the blanket. Khalid winced but then gave the doctor an irritated look.
“So when can we?”
“It is not advised.”
“……”
“Would I be saying this if you were an ordinary person? Please, for the sake of the baby. Moreover, this small fetus might have difficulty handling the power of the Fire Dragon.”
“Let’s be careful. This precious baby is coming after a year of waiting.”
Ancia whispered as she stretched out her hand to grab Khalid’s sleeve. Khalid interlaced his fingers with hers and sweetly replied, “I understand.”
“There are many ways to please you.”
“That’s not what I meant, Khalid.”
“I’ve waited months until I can put it in. Don’t you think I can wait for our baby?”
The doctor, having given up on Khalid, turned sternly to the Duchess, still hidden beneath the blanket.
“Please avoid any strenuous activities.”
“Yes…”
Ancia responded in a small voice, then rubbed her flushed cheek against Khalid’s palm.
She was happy.
