The Esper Grand Duke Wishes For Purity - Chapter 7
“……”
He was at a loss for words for a moment. Ever since becoming Ha Sehyeon’s Guide the moment he reached adulthood, he had gone on countlessGate deployments with him, but he had never seen Sehyeon injured before. On days when he pushed himself too hard, he would suffer by himself until he received guiding, but…
It looked like he’d been pierced.
As his eyes adjusted to the darkness, Heejae thought he could see his surroundings somewhat even without the lighter. He turned off the lighter and shoved it into the pocket of his jeans, then reached out and touched the massive weapon lodged in Sehyeon’s back.
The long weapon, which he guessed was the fang of a monster, seemed to be at least two meters long. Heejae shrank his shoulders in fear.
Just then, the clouds cleared and white moonlight began to shine down. The spot where the two stood was the center of a forest, a small clearing. The surrounding coniferous trees stabbed at the sky, and the short grasses reflected the moonlight in silvery glints.
Had the scenery inside aGate ever been this realistic before?
That question flashed through his mind, but it wasn’t important right now. Heejae gripped the monstrous fang tightly with both hands and sent his guiding energy out of his body.
The doctors had said it might take a long time for the guiding ability he’d lost after waking up in the hospital to return, but contrary to those words, the energy poured out of him smoothly and without any blockages. As he pushed himself to the utmost limit, his skin began to glow.
He pressed down on Sehyeon’s back, where the fang was embedded, with one foot and pulled with all his might. Blood spurted out like a fountain from the gaping hole.
“Just a little more! You’ll be okay soon!”
Heejae tossed the spear-like fang away and urgently pressed both hands over the wound. Using his whole body weight, he pressed down on the bleeding hole, pouring guiding energy into it.
As he received guiding, Sehyeon’s self-healing ability kicked into gear. The fierce life force of an Esper began to return. Heejae felt the chest, previously sunken from broken ribs, slowly rise as it recovered, so he eased up, and Sehyeon’s previously weak breathing gradually strengthened, now rumbling with each breath.
At last, Sehyeon shuddered and coughed up blood.
“Hyung, Sehyeon hyung! Wake up—do you know who I am?”
Heejae ran his hands over Sehyeon’s back, confirming that the bones were all healed, then turned him over. His hands were trembling. In the darkness, his blood-soaked hands glistened a jet-black color.
Turned over, Sehyeon coughed violently, his white face quickly becoming smeared with blood. Without hesitation, Heejae stood up and stripped off all his own bloodied clothes. The temperature inside theGate was so low that he began shivering down to his core. His skin felt frozen.
Chattering his teeth, he stripped Sehyeon of his torn clothes as well. The fabric was nothing but rags, so it was just a matter of pulling them away. Sehyeon’s bare skin was ice-cold. It wasn’t like the usually warm body of an Esper, and tears stung Heejae’s eyes.
Thick tears rolled down Heejae’s cheeks.
“I’m sorry. Whatever it is… I’m just sorry, no matter what. Even if you say anything to me, I’ll be okay now. You can go find another Guide if you want… I won’t resent you, no matter what, just please don’t die.”
With his hands blue from the cold, he rubbed Sehyeon’s bare skin and pressed his body against his chest. Pushing guiding energy in as if to tear his own heart out, Sehyeon’s body flinched in response. Heejae reached down and felt for Sehyeon’s member.
The Esper’s recovering body, accepting the guiding, instinctively responded, so he was able to make him hard without difficulty. Heejae tried to guide Sehyeon inside himself, but he was so dry it wasn’t easy. In desperation, he licked his own fingers, wetted himself, and widened the entrance. The mixture of blood and tears tasted foul, but he didn’t care.
“Ugh…”
After forcing himself open, he sat down hard. There was a wet, bursting sound, and he felt himself fill with warmth. As soon as their bodies joined, the efficiency of guiding tripled and his body temperature soared. S****l excitement climbed up his spine, and Heejae grit his teeth as he trembled from the sensation. Goosebumps ran all over his skin.
“Hiic, sob… Hyung, please open your eyes…”
Just like that, Heejae continued to guide him. He checked by moonlight as every wound inside Sehyeon, every torn and scraped injury, healed completely while he continued pouring in energy.
When the last long, ugly scar across Sehyeon’s cheek quietly closed, Sehyeon finally opened his eyes. As his eyelids, trembling, opened, and those black pupils flickered in the light, Heejae finally lost consciousness.
