The Innocent Mage's Spellbinding Nights - Chapter 16
“Thanks for the meal.”
“Yes, eat a lot, Senior. If you need anything else, just let me know.”
“This alone will fill me up.”
“You should increase your meal portions, Senior. People who work a lot need to eat a lot too.”
Oh, the nagging.
Irina shook her head and took a sip of the soup. It was just the right temperature, savory, and flavorful.
‘Not only button mushrooms but also shiitake mushrooms, just how I like it. Does Hesed like mushrooms too?’
“Does it suit your taste”
“Yes, it’s delicious. Do you like mushrooms too?”
“Your preferences are my preferences, Senior.”
He could be so sly, yet it was really surprising how he kept his distance from women.
“Ah, I’m full. Thanks for preparing such a delicious breakfast, Hesed.”
“Don’t mention it. I’m just happy that you enjoyed it.”
“If only you could keep your mouth shut, you’d be perfect.”
This time, he just smiled without a word, and Irina sighed quietly.
With the strange s-xual desire that had been tormenting her for days now calmed, a good night’s sleep, and a delicious meal, Irina felt better than she had in days. At least today, she felt strong enough to handle anything.
‘If only this part could be neatly resolved.’
As Hesed was about to leave after the meal, Irina called out to him in a slightly firm voice.
“Hesed.”
“Yes, Senior?”
“…Thank you for last night. You were right. If I had tried to hold out for a few more days without your help, it would have been dangerous.”
But separate from her gratitude…
“I know you’re a much better man than I thought. But to me, you’re still a mischievous but kind junior.”
She drew a line, emphasizing that their relationship was still one of master and junior, despite the unavoidable situation that led them to be intimate.
“You understand what I’m saying, right?”
Irina saw the smile disappear from Hesed’s lips. His expression hardened for a moment before he slowly nodded and replied with his usual face.
“…Of course. Sometimes it’s frustrating that you don’t understand, but I’m a better junior than you think.”
Regaining his composure, Hesed turned the doorknob and added,
“But Senior, I have one request.”
“What is it?”
“Though it should never happen, if you ever experience such side effects again from experimenting with new potions, come to me.”
Don’t go looking for another guy.
She couldn’t see his expression as his back was turned to her.
“Hesed.”
“I’ll also seek your help if I find myself in such a situation.”
With that final statement, Hesed left leisurely, leaving Irina staring at the closed door until her heart, which was beating slightly faster than usual, calmed down.

“Good morning, Celsia.”
“Tower Master, you must have slept well last night. You look much better today!”
Irina responded with a faint smile.
Celsia wasn’t the only one who noticed the obvious change. Scarlet and Vine also felt relieved seeing her improved appearance, and other mages commented on how she looked better as well.
It was all thanks to Hesed. Only her usually uncomfortable junior was able to pull her out of the hell she couldn’t tell anyone about.
‘Did I speak too sternly this morning? Hesed is smarter than me, so he’ll know how to keep his distance. Maybe my words were unnecessary…’
Maybe she should apologize when they met.
But strangely, today, it was difficult to catch even a glimpse of Hesed’s hair. The person who usually stayed in his office unless there was something special was absent every time she went to his office.
‘…Is he avoiding me on purpose? No, don’t overthink it. There are days when it’s hard to see him, that’s all.’

At ten in the evening, having somewhat caught up with the backlog of work thanks to her lighter condition, Irina returned to her quarters and threw herself onto the bed.
“Uuugh, I can’t believe even paperwork requires stamina!”
Some might ask how sitting all day could be so tiring, but meticulously reading and signing documents was more mentally exhausting than expected.
‘I originally planned to finish making the antidote when I got back.’
Correcting mistakes without giving up leads to progress.
‘Tonight, I should sleep early. The accumulated fatigue over several days can’t be relieved in just one day.’
After lightly washing up, Irina went to bed. She fell into a light sleep but woke up feeling an unknown heat and itchiness.
“Ugh, hm…”
Her chest, especially her n*****s, felt hot and sore. Half-asleep, she rubbed her chest against the blanket, but the fleeting stimulation only made her more frustrated.
“Ah, hnngh, more, more…”
If only someone would lightly bite and suck these tingling brxxsts. Then she would feel completely better.
Irina involuntarily recalled the passionate caresses she received from Hesed the previous night. At that moment, she felt liquid gush from her similarly itchy lower region.
“Ah, hnnh.”
Unable to bear it, Irina slipped her hand into her pajamas. Her already wet entrance welcomed her fingers but soon felt disappointed, becoming even more tingly.
That place now knew something larger, thicker, and hotly pulsating than her fingers. Her thin, small fingers could no longer satisfy her.
