The Monster's Room - Chapter 76
Throughout the performance, the Troupe Leader held Marie in the audience seats. He attentively penetrated Marie’s front and back with his member and playfully teased whether she would give birth to twins again.
After the performance, he placed Marie on stage and she felt the touch of the crew members change.
The touches had become more persistent—or perhaps more desperate. Whenever she tried to sneak backstage, marionettes would stand ready with their members e***t, causing Marie to be thoroughly covered in se-en from head to toe.
That’s why, J’s temper had been quite bad.
A few days ago, J had blocked Marie from leaving by physically obstructing the hallway. Ironically, this transparent and dangerous barrier was shattered by a single punch from the fluffy cotton doll.
Researchers commented on the video, noting that the force and mass of the fluffy cotton doll’s impact were comparable to a missile and that its ability to push with shockwaves was both precise and clever.
However, it seemed J didn’t fully grasp this.
Feeling outpaced by competitors, J resorted to a particularly sneaky tactic: reverting Marie’s body to a state of inexperience, thus interfering with her interactions with other monsters.
Initially, this seemed to work well.
“Hah, ah, mmm!”
If it hadn’t been for the Iron Horse Knight.
Once known as the Angel of Death, he found Marie’s body that was stripped of its experience, to be like a special delicacy. He thoroughly melted Marie, leading her to realize that she could reach climax continuously for two days without the horses c-ck or barbed c-ck.
J learned this realization too.
Realizing that merely acting ineffectively would only benefit his competitors, the monster eagerly absorbed outside knowledge from Spiegel. Though J’s intentions were unclear, he was still lovely.
Marie comforted him by gently embracing him when he twisted his tentacles in a human-like manner.
– What did you do in the dream to make everyone so spoiled?
“Spoiled?”
– I’m jealous.
Spiegel grumbled as he placed his hand on the mirror. Marie responded by placing her hand on top of his, in a familiar gesture.
– Why has my queen’s love deepened? Suddenly, her power has grown…
The mirror’s surface began to ripple like waves.
– Now I can do things like this.
Marie’s hand was pulled into the mirror and intertwined with Spiegel’s. When Marie looked at Spiegel in surprise, she saw the monster’s eyes were dark and lifeless.
– Love alone isn’t enough for this. What exactly do you find appealing those things? What do you like about them?
“Spiegel.”
– My love. I want to possess you.
“…I’m sorry.”
Marie could only apologize to Spiegel. Even though Spiegel looked at her with such desperation, Marie couldn’t give him everything.
Because.
“I want all of you.”
Marie was a monster too.
“All of you who love me.”
A greedy monster who never lets go of what it has. Her once pure and beautiful face had darkened even more than Spiegel’s. It was the true form of her, having shed another layer of humanity in the nightmare.
– It’s unfair.
Spiegel crumpled his face.
– I’m supposed to be yours alone.
“Yes.”
– It’s not fair.
“Yes.”
Marie’s hand moved in the other world. It was a strange sensation, like swimming through dense air. She explored the place, grabbing Spiegel’s chin and pulling him close. The monster’s lips met the mirror surface.
“Still, Spiegel.”
Marie tilted her head.
Do you love me?
– …It’s really unfair.
Ripples spread across the mirror surface, and their lips touched. Spiegel closed his eyes obediently and welcomed the kiss. It was a first kiss so sweet it felt like the soul would melt.
* * *
Marie pushed her glossy hair behind her ears. After having s-x disguised as a date with the Troupe Leader and getting her every nook and cranny wiped by J, her dark hair flowed smoothly down her back.
“Hmm.”
Her mind was clear after shaking off fatigue, but when she checked the time, it was already 11 PM. Marie smiled and headed to the room with the fluffy cotton doll, thinking that hugging it tightly and falling asleep would make for a perfect end to the day.
Humming a soft tune, Marie walked down the corridor.
Unlike in her dreams, the place was clean and white, with a faint smell of bleach. As she walked, she suddenly looked back.
What once felt so unfamiliar had become oddly familiar.
Marie leaned against the wall.
Though the wall felt quite cool, it didn’t stop her from falling into her thoughts.
From time to time,
Marie felt a sudden impulse.
The impulse to forget everything.
Every time she heard reports of the child losing their abilities and living a normal life, she couldn’t help but wonder if she could live that way too. And perhaps it was actually possible.
If she only used her ability to brainwash herself, she could easily forget the SCP Foundation and anomalous entities, and live a normal life, forgetting that she was a monster.
But Marie had never acted on this thought. The reason was simple.
In this moment, leaning her head against the wall and staring blankly down the corridor, she was reminded that beyond those cold, closed containment doors, there were monsters who loved her.
“…It’s nice.”
It’s nice.
Marie thought it wasn’t so bad. It wasn’t a fairy tale ending, but living didn’t require as many reasons as she thought.
After gazing down the corridor for a while, Marie turned back and opened the containment door. She first saw the quaintly decorated room, and as she looked down, she noticed the fluffy cotton doll with its arms outstretched, waiting for her.
“I’m back.”
Marie hugged the fluffy cotton doll as usual and glanced back at the corridor once more. It was an empty space, but it was where she passed by every day.
Tomorrow, she would walk that path again to visit the monsters’ rooms.
So perhaps,
Marie’s true room was this corridor.
“Hm? It’s nothing.”
The plush toy hugged Marie’s neck tightly. It seemed to think she was going out again when she showed no sign of entering the room. Marie reassured it that she was here to sleep with it tonight, patting its back as she entered the room.
A short while later, the containment door closed.
In the silence left behind by the commotion, there was only a bit of dust and stillness.
And peace.
