The Nanny of House Herzen - Chapter 15
Does that mean he wanted to kill her instead? Like a wolf or a bear… he wanted to kill her?
The Duke mercilessly extended a hand that had killed beasts and stroked Evelyn’s damp blonde hair. His touch was excruciatingly slow, causing no physical pain, yet her fear only deepened.
He added as if to comfort himself.
“I thought of you. I wondered why I had taken such a long journey…when I had you right here at my house.”
Evelyn trembled like a leaf, but the man seemed indifferent.
“I thought of you.”
Had she heard these words before seeing that room, might she have been pleased? Perhaps even hopeful?
But Evelyn had opened the door to secrets, and now the Duke’s words sounded like a death sentence, as if he was saying she could be a replacement for the wolf at any time.
“Why are you so afraid?”
The man looked down at the trembling Evelyn and clicked his tongue.
“Don’t act like a rabbit. That’s not my taste.”
He picked up the damp cloth that had fallen around Evelyn and wrapped her body with it again. Then, without treating her like a delicate babe, he hoisted her over his shoulder like a hunter carrying his game.
He strode out the door and down the empty corridor to his room. Evelyn trembled with fear of encountering anyone along the way, but fortunately, that did not happen.
She was set down on a bed far softer and wider than her own.
Even now, unable to guarantee her life, she worried about the milk continuously dripping. If she stained the bed, it would only be a matter of time before the head maid found out. It was terrifying to think of losing her life, but it was also shameful to survive as a woman marked by disgrace.
The Duke, oblivious to Evelyn’s concerns, unfolded the cloth again.
He immediately grasped the soaked n–ple and began to suckle vigorously. The sound of milk being gulped down was crude.
Evelyn instinctively reached out to his hair but quickly pulled her hand back in shock. He seemed not to care much and, after sucking the n–ple dry, moved to other areas to continue.
“Ah…”
He circled her b*****s gently and moved down her stomach.
As he brushed through the p–ic hair, he playfully teased her hardened cli–ris with the tip of his sharp tongue. He then gently bit it and shook it softly.
It was a surprisingly tender caress, a far cry from her former husband’s rough fondling before forcing his repulsive organ into her mouth.
“Ah, mmm…”
Overwhelmed by the sensation, Evelyn dared to dig her nails into the Duke’s shoulder, but he showed no sign of displeasure.
Finally, he began to take off his shirt.
Even in her flustered state, the sight of his bare body was breathtakingly sculptural. It affirmed the stablehand’s words that had he not been born a Duke, he could have been the kingdom’s greatest hunter.
His body was unlike any nobleman Evelyn had seen before.
The rugged shape of his shoulders was unfamiliar, and even his flat abdomen had etched-like contours.
It was disconcerting that it belonged to the Duke. He rather resembled a coal miner in physique.
That made him even more terrifying. He was an unknown entity to her. There was no predicting what he might do next.
Evelyn’s arms trembled helplessly at her sides as the Duke clicked his tongue again.
“Don’t act like a rabbit.”
Evelyn momentarily shifted her gaze towards him, startled, then quickly turned away.
It seemed not that he had brought back a beast, but that he himself was the beast. How else could he bear such a monstrous thing?
He scoffed at her reaction.
“Making such an innocent face with your body dripping milk. You don’t need to do that.”
For the first time, Evelyn retorted sharply.
“Not every man has… such a thing…”
Her voice trailed off to a whisper. The Duke laughed as if amused and went back to taking her b****t.
“Ah…”
While sucking vigorously, he took Evelyn’s hand and placed it on his organ, guiding her to stroke it.
As Evelyn touched the sticky liquid-coated flesh, something burned in her throat. It used to take a while to get her former husband, the Marquis, e-ect by keeping him in her mouth, but the Duke’s member was already firm and long without needing any more attention.
He finally detached his mouth from her n–ple and stood up, staring down at Evelyn with a persistent gaze.
When their eyes met, the thing in her hand grew larger with a twitch. Startled, Evelyn withdrew her hand, and he smoothly moved to dug her under.
“Ah…”
The entrance that was already tenderly ravaged, opened wide to accept him. Even though it was just the tip, Evelyn gritted her teeth at the immense sensation of intrusion.
“Evelyn.”
She was startled at the sound of her name. She hadn’t expected him to remember it.
His hand gently stroked her hair as if to soothe her. The Duke looked down at her with a smirk.
“I do not bed a woman whose name I do not know.”
In a fleeting moment of distraction, he thrust deeply.
“Ah!”
Would he also remember the names of the women who had become corpses? Evelyn wondered the chilling thought in her mind.
Lest she begin to trust those obsidian-like sparkling black eyes that spoke her name, as if tempting her to delude herself into feeling affection.
She fought not to be deceived by his apparent tenderness. She repeatedly reminded herself of the room at the end of the corridor and replayed the image of the eagle’s yellow eyes with its wings spread wide.
