The Priest's Fall Into Lustful Heat - Chapter 117
Juvia’s domain was small and cozy.
Unlike some, who engaged in chaotic acts in vast open spaces, or hung elf men from tentacles to torment them, Juvia didn’t need such expansiveness.
The ground was made of cotton, and the stream of water flowing gently was sweet, like syrup. Occasionally, birds with wings fluttering and chirping sounded far more charming than the usual creatures of the demon realm. Quilted blankets were scattered all over, and in the innermost part, Juvia lay, fast asleep, cradled a doll.
Her breath was faint and delicate.
Ashtel, Hela, Carmen, Matys, and even Liz carefully entered, gazing down at Juvia who had fallen into dreamland.
Liz, though wondering what she was doing, spoke first.
“So, how do we wake up the second sister?”
The answer was simple.
“Beat it.”
It was the voice of Sermerdes, the proud and lofty eldest sister.
When Ashtel was born, Sermerdes had woken Juvia up by nearly destroying half of her domain, so Ashtel trusted that this method would work…
“Here we go.”
With a loud rumble, the sky darkened in an instant. A dragon streaked across the once-clear sky, leaving a flash of gold in its wake.
The cotton-covered ground trembled, and the cheerful birds fled in fright.
Ashtel, having swallowed her breath, moved closer to Hela.
‘Terrifying.’
Hela moved closer to Matys, and Matys swiftly gathered Carmen and Liz, pulling them into her large arms.
The two sisters were trapped in the embrace, arms crossed, their eyes narrowing as they observed.
“How long do you think it’ll take?”
Liz asked first, and, of course, it was Carmen, who loved statistics, who answered.
“Since the eldest sister raised her hand, at most a day. At least two hours for a faster result.”
“And the amount of domain destruction?”
“At least half. If we’re unlucky, more might collapse.”
Since Ashtel had asked for it to be done as quickly as possible, Sermerdes would give it her all.
The great demon lord and ruler of the succubi, Sermerdes, giving her all.
At Liz and Carmen’s urging, the sisters took a few more steps back. Then, the sound of the dragon’s cry continued, dancing through the air.
“Do, do you think Sis Juvia will be okay…?”
Ashtel trembled.
Only moments ago, she had been angry at Sermerdes, but now, feeling like a turtle with its neck withdrawn, she hunched her shoulders and rolled her big eyes.
The effort Sermerdes was putting into waking Juvia was terrifying.
And Juvia, still asleep despite the thunderous shocks, was just as frightening.
About an hour later, as the four sisters were still trembling…
“It huurrrttssss!”
Juvia shot up, her quilt now tattered in her hands.
Ashtel and her sisters, who had been plugging their ears and communicating by gesturing with their hands and feet, startled and looked up.
“Already?”
“A new record?”
It seemed Sermerdes’s effort had paid off.
Amid the thick smoke, Juvia, her white hair like wool, had raised her eyes, her eyelids drooping, and tears welled up in her eyes.
“I said it hurrttss! It hurts!”
“Juvia. Wake up.”
“I am awaakee!”
Behind Juvia, the remnants of her shattered domain were visible.
The once cute and cozy cotton-filled space crumbled apart in a tragic display.
She glanced around, then stomped her foot and whined.
“Why! Why again! Why did you wake me uupp?!”
“Sue, come here. Looks like Juvia’s awake.”
“Ah, oohh.”
At Sermerdes’ gesture, Ashtel quickly pulled out her earplugs and ran over.
It had been fifty years since she last had a proper conversation with Juvia, but the familiar face brought back fond memories.
“Sis Juvia!”
“…Oh, Sue?”
“Long time no see!”
“Glad to see you! How have you beeen?”
Juvia greeted Ashtel with her signature, drawn-out speech.
Her woolly hair, just like her fluffy pajamas, enveloped Ashtel in a warm hug.
She held Ashtel, her beloved younger sister, for a while before asking,
“Did you ask me to wake up? Why? What’s going on?”
Though it was sad that her domain had been partially destroyed, she was able to endure it because it was something Ashtel wanted.
Juvia’s kindness made Ashtel speak up.
“Well, there’s something I need Sis’s help with.”
“Help?”
“Yes.”
Ashtel hesitated, wondering if Juvia would get angry, asking if it was all because of a human.
She subtly observed her sister’s expression and then gathered the courage to explain.
“There’s a human I like. His name is Payne, and I heard he’s cursed with something related to dreams.”
Juvia seemed to understand the reason behind waking her up and tilted her head slightly.
“Sis Seri said she thought you’d know, so I asked her to wake you up.”
“Ah, I see.”
“And also… is it possible to erase a human’s memory?”
“Hmm… memory.”
