The Princeliest Prince of All - Chapter 15
Leonard glanced repeatedly at Sera, who was sitting on the sofa, as he looked through his documents.
His frequent glances were noticeable even to Evan, who was assisting him.
Sera felt very uncomfortable under the prince’s gaze and sat up straight.
“I didn’t get a break in the morning… Can I take one now?”
“Let’s go together.”
Damn it.
Why had he suddenly become so clingy?
Reluctantly, Sera headed to the princess’s palace with the prince trailing behind her like a burden.
Since seeing that unsettling scene earlier in the day, nothing seemed to be going right.
They arrived at the usual time for tea, but Leticia was not in the garden.
Seeing the empty garden, Sera’s shoulders slumped.
Noticing her visibly dejected expression, Leonard spoke.
“Do you want to see Leticia?”
“Yes….”
“If she’s not in the garden, she must be inside. Go in and see her.”
Leonard casually gestured toward the building.
The princess’s palace was slightly smaller but just as beautiful and ornate as the prince’s.
Since it was the main setting of the original story, Sera naturally wanted to see it.
“I’m not part of this palace, so I can’t just go in….”
So stingy.
Why couldn’t I have been assigned as a maid in the princess’s palace instead?
Although the visual effect here wasn’t bad either.
As Sera grumbled internally, Leonard spoke up again.
“I can go in.”
“Oh…?”
“If you want to get closer to Leticia, I can call her, and we can have tea together.”
Suddenly, the path to her dream opened up.
Sera’s ears perked up.
Having tea while sitting next to the female lead of the original story.
And behind the female lead, the male lead of the story would be standing.
But she soon shook her head.
Even though there might be some bumps along the way, there was no need to disturb the perfectly happy ending of the original story.
“No, no. I’m satisfied with just watching from afar.”
True fans respect the star’s privacy.
Determined, but still somewhat regretful.
It’s like missing a ticket sale and wandering around the theater just to catch a glimpse of the stars backstage.
“Oh but, can I just take a quick look inside using you as an excuse?”
Her choice of words was as bold as ever.
Leonard struggled to maintain a composed expression despite feeling his image being completely ruined in front of Sera.
“Your phrasing is a bit off, but sure. Follow me.”
With that, Sera followed Leonard and set foot in Leticia’s palace for the first time.
The palace staff were understandably startled by the sudden appearance of the prince with just one maid in tow.
Leonard easily stopped the staff from immediately fetching Leticia.
His excuse about wanting to refurbish his own palace and needing to take inspiration from Leticia’s palace was absurd but was surprisingly accepted by the staff.
It wasn’t like the prince usually made sense anyway.
“Wow, this is amazing. You’re the best, Prince.”
Leonard felt a bit conflicted by Sera’s genuine praise.
Despite officially holding the third highest power in the country, he needed to use his younger sister to win over a woman.
What a pitiful situation.
“Oh, this is the second-floor corridor. The study should be at the end of this hall…!”
Seeing the setting of the original story with her own eyes, Sera was thrilled.
This was where the two main characters first met and became aware of each other.
It felt like being on a movie set.
To Leonard, however, it was strange to see Sera so excited about a place that was not as grand as his own palace.
Was it because of the flowers outside the corridor window?
Maybe he should ask the gardener to plant flowers that scatter less pollen in his own palace.
Unaware of Leonard’s thoughts, Sera peeked into a slightly open room.
“Wow, Prince, look at this. Can we go inside?”
It was none other than Leticia’s dressing room.
Leonard had never had any reason to be curious about it.
But he knew that women generally liked clothes and jewelry.
Leonard casually agreed, as if it were his own palace.
“Do as you please. I’ll take responsibility.”
Before he finished speaking, Sera had already burst into the room.
Leonard followed her at a leisurely pace and closed the door behind him.
The room was filled with colorful dresses neatly organized.
“Dresses…! This is incredible! This is what a rofan should be.”
Mumbling incomprehensible things, Sera eagerly looked at the dresses.
She didn’t touch anything, careful not to damage the jewels or lace, just enjoying the view.
Leonard noted that Sera indeed seemed to like clothes and jewelry.
While he couldn’t build her a new palace, he could certainly arrange for a dressmaker to make dresses for her.
He didn’t realize there was no room for such a dressing room in the maid’s quarters.
“Oh, this is the rose dress from the first scene.”
As Sera danced around the room, she suddenly stopped dead in her tracks.
She could hear the voices of the two main characters just outside the door.
They shouldn’t be caught here.
