The Princeliest Prince of All - Chapter 25
Five years may be a long time or a short time, but during those years in this new world, Sera’s movements were extremely limited.
Her subconscious led her to a familiar place as she tried to escape.
Princess Leticia’s palace.
Since she hadn’t come at a scheduled time, Leticia was not in the garden.
Sera stood blankly, staring at the empty garden.
Then someone gently tapped her shoulder.
“Miss Sera?”
Startled by the sudden sweet voice, Sera turned her head.
There stood the female lead whom Sera had always admired from afar.
Her lush blonde hair shone brilliantly under the sunlight, dazzling Sera.
“Oh, um, greetings, Your Highness…!”
“Miss Sera, right? Nice to meet you. I’m Leticia.”
Sera’s eyes widened as Leticia called her name twice.
How does the princess know her name? Is this what it means to be a successful fan?
“How do you know….”
“Oh, I apologize. You probably don’t know me well, Miss Sera, but I was excited to meet you….”
“I’m, I’m glad to meet you too!”
At Leticia’s awkward smile, Sera waved her hands vigorously.
How Leticia knew her wasn’t important at all.
Leticia’s bright smile was enough to make Sera’s heart race.
Watching Sera, who seemed mesmerized, Leticia smiled again and spoke.
“Are you busy right now? If not, would you like to have tea with me?”
“It would be an honor…!”
Sera, enchanted by Leticia’s smile, accepted the tea invitation without hesitation.
In less than ten minutes, Sera found herself sitting in the garden of the princess’s palace, a scene from the original story, having tea with the female lead.
Did Leticia cast a spell?
Despite seeing the maids diligently preparing everything, Sera couldn’t help but think such foolish thoughts.
Leticia in front of her was shining so brightly, and Theodoric, standing a few steps behind with a dignified posture, was indeed the male lead himself.
Sera, trembling, lifted a white teacup.
As she took a sip, the refreshing taste of black tea spread in her mouth.
It’s the same tea she had drunk at the empress’s palace, but who cares.
“I’m sorry. You must have been surprised that I suddenly approached you.”
Pff—
Sera almost spat out the tea in an ungraceful manner and quickly set the teacup down with a clatter.
Seeing Sera’s flustered and cute reaction, Leticia covered her mouth with the teacup to hide her laughter.
“No! Well… a little. Do you know me?”
“Well, actually, I recognized you by your dress. I have the same one.”
“H-Huh?”
At Leticia’s words, Sera looked down at the pink dress she was wearing.
One of the many dresses Leonard had ordered.
What’s the story behind this dress?
More importantly, matching outfits with the female lead, or rather, a pair look!
She was definitely on the right track.
“If the dressmaker made another one like mine, it could only be for you, Miss Sera.”
Is this how everyone in the imperial palace talks, or is there something else Sera doesn’t know?
Sera still couldn’t fully grasp the conversation.
Seeing the confusion on Sera’s face, Leticia continued in a gentle voice.
“My brother asked me for the dressmaker who made my clothes. He said he wanted to get clothes made for you, Miss Sera.”
Sera never thought much of Leonard having clothes made for her.
Even after hearing from the empress that Leonard wanted to marry her, she couldn’t believe it.
Because his manner of speaking was terrible and the order of things was all messed up.
How many more surprises awaited her today?
Sera looked blankly at the refreshments on the table.
“So, I wanted to meet you, Miss Sera. To see what kind of person you are.”
Leticia seemed genuinely happy as she said this.
Come to think of it, if she married Leonard, she would become family with Leticia.
And Theodoric, too.
A sudden rise from an extra to the center of the original story’s main characters.
An enormous merit she hadn’t realized!
“It was the first time my brother talked to me about something like this. Miss Sera, you might not know, but I could understand my brother’s feelings. So….”
Leticia, not knowing that Sera knew everything about the original story and the love between the two protagonists, continued shyly.
Her eyes, filled with love, occasionally glanced at Theodoric’s profile.
Sera’s heart started pounding.
Does Leonard look at Sera with such eyes, too?
After that, Leticia chatted about various things.
Mostly about how Leonard seemed to really like Sera, which made Sera’s heart swell with excitement.
“And this is just my thought, but Brother said if I help him, he would help me. I don’t know if he meant it knowingly, but it’s true that I need his help… I’ll do my best to help you two get married.”
“Really?”
At Sera’s question, Leticia nodded with a bright smile.
Leticia didn’t know, but Leonard was already aware of the relationship between the two leads.
So, unlike the original story, he wouldn’t oppose it, meaning Sera had unintentionally helped the main characters.
On the way back, Sera pondered over her feelings.
She decided to accept Leonard’s proposal.
After all, his mysophobia and difficult personality would only trouble another woman if they married him, so why not just take him for herself?
Moreover, if Sera became the crown princess, she would eventually become the empress, the highest authority.
She could fully support Leticia’s love.
Above all, thinking that Leonard liked her so much made her heart burst with joy.
Then, there would be no need for such silly self-pleasuring assistants, and she could do this and that…!
