The Princess's Spectacular Abduction - Chapter 4
The air in the room shifted instantly at the strange sight of Smokey thoughtfully leading the way to the door, with a tiny girl following him closely.
Keith bounced out faster than anyone else and grabbed Smokey by the collar.
“Hey, you crazy bastard, you can’t bring a kid in here with you……!”
“Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, quiet, quiet, baby.”
“……That’s right, baby.”
“Yeah.”
Apparently, these men had forgotten that the evil kidnappers of this six-year-old “baby” were none other than themselves.
Jenny looked at Nina in disbelief, and it was then that she spoke up.
“Oh my. What the hell is this?”
By the time the men realized she was there, it was too late.
“What the hell Ravi, did you finally get your nose pierced?*”
(T/N: An expression in Korean used to refer to livestock with pierced noses, which is used to control them. Often seen in cows and bulls. The idiom is also sometimes likened to being tied down by marriage.)
Nina glanced in Ravian’s direction, thinking they must be making a big mistake.
He had the look of someone who’d just gotten drunk again.
“Dude, I don’t know what you’re thinking, but it’s not that…….”
“Oh my God, then who the hell is she, you’re not going to tell me she’s Keith’s little girl, are you?”
“I don’t care who she is, it’s none of your damn business …….”
There’s no way he can tell the truth about kidnapping his niece, the First Princess, so there’s really no excuse for this situation, which he brought on himself.
Of course, Ravian had no time for such introspection, only for the spigot to turn.
“Pfft, you act so confident, saying it will never happen, but the day will come when it happens to you too, right? By the way, do you have a business in seed theft?”
Jenny was very determined to get under Ravian’s skin, and the executives, who knew the leader’s dog-like temperament, became very anxious.
There are two things Ravian hates most: getting his nose pierced, and living up to the expectations of others.
The most frequent expectation he had faced throughout his 28 years of life was the curse of “Meet a proper person and get your nose properly pierced.”
Of course, the current situation was merely Jenny’s one-sided misconception.
However, whether it was a misconception or the truth, if Ravian’s temperament continued to be provoked in this manner, no one knew what this conscienceless boss might do.
“Of course not. Actually, she’s my younger sister.”
The one who spoke up was Mercy.
Mercy confidently approached Nina with steady strides.
Everyone was taken aback by this sudden move.
“Mercy’s sister…? This little kid?”
“Yeah, don’t ask for details. It’s heartbreaking.”
Strictly speaking, there was hardly anything that resembled a blood relation between Nina and Ravian, to the point where it was surprising that anyone would misunderstand.
However, the same could be said for Keith and Smokey, or rather, it was even more pronounced.
If it were Mercy, on the other hand, the mysterious and beautiful Mercy, who seemed more like a noble than Ravian, could reasonably be seen as Nina’s sibling.
“Kid, is it true? Is Mercy your sister?”
Jenny, still suspicious, asked Nina.
And Nina felt the intense pleading eyes of the four men clinging to her.
“Please say yes……!
What a bunch of shameless kidnappers.
Nina was stunned, but she decided to help.
“Yeah, it’s real.”
“Alright then, get lost.”
Ravian’s triumphant manner of dealing with the situation left a strange sense of regret in the observers.
They should have just let the guy face the consequences.
“You were going to leave without saying anything, right? Don’t contact me again.”
“Yeah, sure. Get lost.”
As Jenny stomped out, Ravian chuckled softly and walked over to the bar.
He found a cigarette and put it in his mouth.
He was about to light it spontaneously when his hand slipped back down.
A pair of large eyes peered up from his lap, curious.
He didn’t have time to wonder when she’d gotten here.
“In exchange for your help, I have a condition.”
“…….”
