Psyche stared blankly out the window. Outside, it was pitch black without a single trace of light.

‘…I’m thirsty.’

She slowly got out of bed. The moment her feet touched the floor, her brow furrowed. A sharp ache throbbed between her thighs.

Suddenly, Psyche realized that someone had cleaned her body and dressed her in fresh clothes.

It must have been Rezus who did it. He likely carried her to the room as well.

Her steps toward the door faltered. Psyche bit down hard on her lower lip. Soon after, she shook her head and resumed walking.

‘I shouldn’t think about Ruon… even on purpose. Now’s not the time for that.’

To manifest her abilities, she needed to form as many connections as possible. At least the male leads suited her preferences. Instead of sinking into despair over situations she couldn’t resolve during her captivity, wouldn’t it be better to enjoy herself?

After all, she had enjoyed it during those moments of connection.

If things continued to unfold like this, Psyche felt she could keep enjoying herself in the future as well.

Quickly filling her mind with positive thoughts, she stood before the mirror and examined her appearance. Rezus had left her body marked all over, as though pomegranate blossoms had bloomed across her skin. She stared at those vivid traces, then stepped out of the room boldly, not even bothering to put on a robe.

Simply descending from the second floor to the first left her breathless, her whole body trembling. She soon realized something was wrong with her body. She was running a fever. It seemed to be a side effect caused by the latent power within her.

Psyche sighed and cautiously made her way down the stairs. The first floor was empty.

‘…Someone will show up soon enough.’

That was why she hadn’t bothered to cover the red marks on her body. Seeing the kiss marks would naturally evoke lewd thoughts, and such thoughts would inevitably lead to desire. Taking slow, deep breaths, the dizziness subsided slightly. Carefully, Psyche moved forward and picked up the teapot. As she poured water into a cup, her hands trembled uncontrollably. Was it because she had no strength left? The teapot felt unbearably heavy, as though it weighed a thousand pounds.

In the moment her grip faltered and the teapot began to slip from her hands—

“Ah…?”

A long, graceful hand reached in from behind, firmly supporting the base of the teapot. Startled, Psyche turned to see who it was, only to stop abruptly. Judging by the dark tone of the skin, it had to be either Rezus or Serdin. However, the unfamiliar scent wafting toward her, so different from the aroma that lingered all night, made it clear that it was Serdin.

As she speculated, the man reached out with his other hand and took the cup from her. In the process, his hand brushed against hers. Psyche flinched, hastily bringing her hands to her chest.

“…Damn it, I’m not going to eat you. I’m just pouring water, so stop trembling.”

A low, irritable voice sounded from above. As expected, the man behind her was Serdin. While she felt a twinge of disappointment that it wasn’t Helios, she quickly erased the thought from her mind.
